I am fed up I get this number at least 8 times a day and also international shown for another number, I work nights and it is getting me down being woken up so often.

It started with a call on my cell from the number 0016506189523, the first call I answerd whit my first name (as is common way to answer the phone in Sweden) & thinking it was some friend living abroad  (I live in Sweden) the voice (I think recorded) told me I was welcome to "Viper something something" I hung up pretty quick. Then the same number called three more times before it change to the 000000000000-number, that number called me twice...
After reading every one elses experience I do hope I wont get "stalked" by this caller or even worse that I have to pay for the calls, I have notice my phonecompany what hapen & hopefully there wont get charge...

I've just been hung up on by that number, this is getting silly all this cold calling, I remember the days when harrassment was something perves did now we all fall victim, does anyone know who I see about this?

they are snooping around for information, and they are spoofing their caller id.  could possibly be a
dhss fraud squad department

We now have a phone that shows the caller's number, so we don't pick up any anonymous calls, but just let the answerphone take them instead. We've told friends and family (who might call from abroad, so their numbers wouldn't appear) to leave a quick message: if we're in, we pick up, otherwise we know to call them back later.

It's a pain, however, and I don't think the phone line companies are doing enough - or anything - about the problem. So what we should all do is pester these companies to act: if they get an avalanche of customer complaints, perhaps they'll do something about the problem!

Received the second call this year from 000000000000.

No response to my hello - silence for about 5 seconds then dial tone.
Does make one wonder who, or what, or why!!

These people have been calling over a month and when I call back it says to check the number

this number has called me today, also called me several times over the months. Indian type accents (Typical british name) telling me my computer has told them that it has been infected by a Trojan Horse. I played her along asking which computer this applied to, having 5 machines with varying microsoft window versions. If she really new the information she was suggesting she should be able to tell me if it applied to vista etc. I was told to go to my PC and switch it on, obviously a scam to get access to information on machine. This does p**s me off, only satisfaction i get is to play them along and waist there time until i p**s them off. Only problem is that it doesnt stop them calling back

I have had this number call me twice. The first time I got an auto voice saying 'you are the only one in this conference call'.

The second time just silence.

Had another call from this 000000000recurring number telling me from Microsoft and have all these programmes trying to take over my computer and asking me to switch it on.  Told them as before that I was busy and didn't have time.  Put phone down and did 1471 to get number.

Groan! The twelve zeroes lot have started ringing again :(

They called today (3rd April) at 15.55pm but did not leave a message on the answer machine.

Please stop calling.

Attention 12x0 number is Organized Crime. They tell a different story every time. Do not reply or follow the instructions.

My grandma has been called from this number too, nearly three times a day. She'd picking up the phone once and they only said "good bye", Awkward.. :S Now she's phoning to her provider, maybe they find something abouth this mysterious number.

I am having great trouble with this number recently.  The other day they called my landline 6 times and never left a message.  How do I get them to stop?

got a call from the 00etc today, indian woman like above saying she's from "windows" and that their records show ive got lots of malicious software downloads and they can help - same routine as various replies above. told her she was not the least bit convincing, asked her what windows version i had amd she said her records only show it's a "windows computer". what a bunch of amateurs!!

three calls today and two yesterday - did not answer till today and now i know i definitely won't. fed up with these folks from other countries coming across my cell phone. any ideas how to stiop it without paying extra fees is greatly appreciated.

one more thing - mine is a cell phone not a landline because this is what i have instead of landline - if that make any difference

Got a call from them again and again and again. This time it was a guy that didnt know how to speak English. Told me his name was John and that my computer is sending out a whole lot of spam. Told me to log onto my computer and he would walk me thru how to correct this problem. I told him I only have a work computer and offered to give him the number to my employer so he could work it out with him... With that being said I gave him my attys phone number.. After I did that he kept going... G G G G G G G OO OO OOO OOO DDDDDD like he was studderine or the record was skipping.. I hung up.. How can I keep them from calling my cell number all hours of the day and night...
