just had this number calling. i no longer answer any calls, i am so sick of bogus calls. i use 1471 and if i dont recognise the number i dont ring back and never will do. i am getting ner to not having a land line at all. what as the world come to. a phone was very important to people and a life line now its just a way for criminals to try and fool us and rob us of our personal details. fortunately they wont get anywhere here, but some poor person will fall for it and what about those vunerable elderley people being pestered. god help them please.

Just got  call from 0000000000000 number they said my computer was running slow told me to go on line www.logmein.com
there a sign in pin number is needed they started to tell me the number to type in but I said i was not sure they are from micosoft and they hung up

I got a call from this number at 18.50 BST, they said they were doing a survey, then said they had a bad line and would call me back as they couldn't understand what I was saying.

The telephone is so good at changing our phones to make them more money. Why cant they prevent all these stupid crank calls?

My advice is,,,,,,,,,,have a personal attack nearby ready to use for unwanted calls,,,,,set it off answer calls press attack alarm to mouthpiece..........the never call again cos they are deaf for days :-)

Answered, not normally if number not known. Indian guy saying I had a computer installed and reported problems. Informed him TWICE  I had not, I cut him off

had several calls on my landline over the past few days - every hour or 2...I say hello and there is no answer - line goes dead - this is making me crazy. These people are more than a nuisance - its very distressing - I am seriously ill and have to get up to answer a scam or prank call - don't have caller display or any way to block calls. This is a disgrace...already registered with UK TPS..so it must be overseas...REALLY tired of it now.

Some one called my business line at 1:30am. I only give the numbers out to employees.

The very same number has been calling my landline and normally there is just silence but today, after receiving 3 or 4 silent calls from this number I waited and didn't hang up. I waited and a female voice started speaking and asked me if she could ask me some consumer products questions. I gave her a very short answer and told her not to call again. She simply hung up. My telephone operator has since told me that this number is untracable and is probably being dialled through a computer. Definitely a scam I was told.

I've just had an 000000000000 call  ......a woman with an Asian/Indian? accent wanted to know if  "the main user of our windows computer was at home"    ......I could'nt be @rsed to answer her questions  [I find talking to people with foriegn accents tiresome]    ......so I just said  "Not today thank you"  and hung up.
It was only afterwards when I 1471'ed the number that I realised it was not just a  "number witheld"  call.

just received a call from 00000000000......no one there then got automated message saying thank you for calling.

yes a member of our family recently died and we have had this number calling

i got 2 calls today sayin id spoke to some 1 about a loan i had i told them i not got a loan so they asked if i had a morgage and a credit card when i said no i havnt they hung up i 1471 the number it was 00000000000 same scam last week from windows sayin i had a virus on comp when i asked what site i got it fro they hung up so next time they called i told them i not got computer so i couldnt have virus i checked my anti virus and all clear whatch out they keep tyin

This number rang me in December 2010 and also March 2011.

I've not had another call from this 'twelve zeros number' until today (20/10/11, 15.05pm).

I let the answer machine collect the call but they did not leave a message.

I never answer my landline to any number I do not know, just do a 1471 after call and check to see if any message left on 1571.  This number has called several times recently along with a stream of others.  I ALWAYS ensure I tick or do not tick boxes on forms depending on how they specify I need to "opt out".  I am also TPS.  So why do I get these calls?
I also have an invasion of Ladybirds in my house and car - could they be connected?  Is it them ringing to see if I am at home so they can sneak in when I am out?  The World is driving me mad!!

this number called me 000000000000 and they sounded definately foreign they said they were from a global company and that i had serious issues with my computor i said you what and they hung up

Just had a call from this number, first couple of seconds was silence then a voice, probably someone from India, said, "you are eligible for building renovation", or something similar, he then asked what kind of building do you live in? to which I replied "A mud hut" he imediately hung up. That's one way of getting rid of em...

This number just called my personal mobile, I didnt answer as the number purely shocked me, I will not be answering it either and I do not think any of you should.

Only had this landline number for a few weeks and getting calls already.  This number called and an indian sounding man asked for someone I don't know.  I asked him where he got the number from and  when he answered me I could not tell what he was saying.  When i told him the number was registered with TPS and he was breaking the law phoning it and could I have his company details he hung upon me.
