I recieved a harrassing text message from this number

My mother got an untrue message from the 6245 number about me . They need to get a life and stop worring about mine. I would love for them to get caught and have to pay a fine .

how did you go about researching this number?  I have tried, but without any success.

I have a PFA on this person from this number and he is harassing me!!

a friend of mine has been getting text messages from this number, and theyve been calling her really mean names and its been upsetting her. she got a new phone number, and theyre still texting her. we want to put a stop to this.

I just talked to verizon and they said it is done thru vtext.com.  There is no way of know who the email/text is that sent it or whom it was sent to.  You can look at the phone it was sent from under texts and see where it was sent but not if it was sent to you.

I always receive harassing text messages to my cell phone and the only number showing up is 6245. I think it's coming from a computer and if anybody knows I can find out please let me know.

This isn't just for weather alerts.  A friend of mine is receiving threatening and malicious messages from 0000006245.  She believes she knows who it is, but I told her to log in to her Verizon account online and block all messages from websites and email addresses.  This should resolve the problem.

i keep seeing this message pop on my bill and have no idea that it is?  if anyone knows what this means please advise.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the 6245 represents sms text messages from an email address or istant messenger & sends it as a regular text to a mobile number. When the person texts back to the person who sent the text, it will also show as 6245.  If it is not you, I would look into who's communication back & forth this way.  Usually someone who doesn't want their number to be traced will use this form of communication. Very common practice between lovers who wish to email discreetly on the sly & stay in contact without getting caught by their spouse or significant other.

Check his YAHOO acct.. look at his contacts list..you can send texts through yahoo.com email easy to a cell phone...through IM.

i received a text -  on my cell it said it was from someone i knew it came up their name and number but on my verizon bill it came up with the number 0000006245 - i'm thinking it's some sort of prank
