Well, I recently caught my fiance sleeping with escorts, and these numbers coincide with his interaction with them. They send him pics of them through this number. I'm told it's an email text message, but I'm still not quite sure exactly what it is. I'm not responding to hurt you, I'm just giving you info that I wish was given to me when I was still curious.

I just tried it on my fiance's phone. Then I logged into my VZW account, and checked his texts. Same number!!!! It's an email sent to "his phone number" (no dashes) @VTEXT.COM

Yes, it's an email to: "YOUR PHONE NUMBER"@VTEXT.COM

My daughter receives a lot of texts from this number, they are unwanted.  How can they be blocked?

I have seen this number appear on my bill as well. It has caused a lot of problems between me and my husband. The last time it showed up he took his phone to verizon and demanded they tell him what it was because it was gonna cause a divorce. When they asked him what the number was he said 0000006245, two employees looked up at him with a surprised look on there face. They told him it is a virus and to leave the phone for an hour. What is funny to me is he has had 2 different phones with this number showing up on the bill but not on either phone. I have read all these posts on how it causing problems in relationships and other concerns. Most of these are verizon customers. I want to know why verizon can't find out what,where or how this is being done to all of these verizon customers? Or is it a verizon worker playing pranks thinking it funny to cause problems and send threats? Maybe all of us verizon customers should obtain an Attorney to look into this further and possibly occur damages against Verizon for not being more considerate of there customers. Or should we all switch to another provider who are not having these problems? This number is obviously causing a lot of problems. We all wanna know who it is. This could be causing divorces or anything and hurting innocent people just because our provider won't look into it further.

Verizon also told my husband that we would have to obtain a court order to find out where they are coming from. Well why don't they do that? It seems to be mostly Verizon customers having this problem. All the money we pay them for cell phone service and they can't even put a stop to this problem?

I got a message today as well, and I responded to it they sent me a reply. I confronted my spouse in regards to the message and wasn't happy about it. I called verizon and they didn't do anything. After reading all these post it seems like they are all from verizon customers. Maybe the only way verizon will react is if there is a lawsuit against them.

for strange emails is from having a nickname that others have used also on the Verizon web sight for texting.

Its definitely some kind of internet texting, but can be from a number of sources.  I have seen it on my bf's bill a few times and initially was inquiring, however, the same time the numbers were on there were when I was texting him from my online verizon account because I had left my phone at home while at work that day.  I have once again seen the numbers come up on his bill, however he has recently set up a notification alert thru his job in which, instead of calling with open shifts/call outs they send a text from the global system alert to the phones.

Verizon is clueless.

Any ideas?
