Got a call on my home phone number this afternoon from an Indian telling me he was calling from microsoft support regarding my windows 7 problem.  Told I didn't have a problem and asked who's name he had scarily he had my first and last name.  I then I needed to check with my husband but he hung up.  The same number just called my mobile but this time they hadn't realised they had called me and i heard and Australian woman having a conversation with someone about shopping!  We listened for a couple of minutes trying to get any clues but they eventually realised and hung up.  I don't like the fact that some dodgy place has my home and mobile numbers and knows my name.  It looks like this has been going on for years has anyone got any ideas how to stop it or at least report it?

Im getting about 2-3 calls from this number havent answered cause the number seems weired to me. Glad to see this so wont answer!

Someone please create an app for the iphone that is not a hacked one that is a call blocker. iBlacklist the hacked version worked on my old hacked iPhone and it would block any call. I really miss it because ass wipes like the firm that's claiming to be an energy company from 00011976000. I had 3 calls in as many minutes I am a lawyer and have started legal action. Lets see how smug those f..kers are when they get my bill for $850 for 5 minutes...

They are trying to sell dudgy stuff and collect your private information. Best to just keep ignoring them and tell everyone about it.

I just received a phone call from this number, they said that they were from Bigpond and that my internet was interfering with their lines, they were receiving error reports.  The woman on the end of the line asked me if I was in front of my computer she wanted me to do something...I couldn't understand her but I asked her to give a contact number so I could call her back and she said no I can only call you and I again said no give me your phone number and she hung up!

This number just called me, I happened to be sitting right next to my phone and so answered.

The person asked for Helen (no Helen here!) and they said, sorry wrong number and hung up.

Quite different from the other types of calls that have been coming from this number.

Just got 2 calls in a row from this number - didn't answer because it looked dodgy, and googled instead which brought me here. Sounds like an incredibly bizarre scam, lots of different experiences. Won't be answering them any time soon!

Visiting Australia from the UK and had this number call twice now between 1am and 4 am. Did not answer. How do you report it while so far away from home??

In Sydney and just received a call from this number, that makes 3 calls from last 4 days. I'm seriously considering jail breaking my iOS6 iPhone 5 when the means becomes available and then install iBlackList which will allow me to permanently block individual numbers.

Call from this number two times. I missed the calls but both directly before my new super in love with me girl friend from Philippines calls on her regular cell. I must add that I have never met her in person but she seems nice and genuine. Repeat she seems nice, but there is still a little doubt as to whether she is genuine. Some Filipino dating scammers are real good and this one if it is a scamm she is one of the best. I hope not and I am hoping that as someone mentioned above it is just the number you get when they use a low cost phone company from Asia.

received email from safeway seguros agency, madrid spain saying ive won two and a half million us dollars and the said ph no now wants to know how i want to receive the money. names involved- laura lopez, mr ronnie perez

I've just received a call from this number, just repeating hello over an over then speaks in another language
