I have several call from this number I have never answered. Now to block the number. you jokers need to get a life

Got a call 10 mins ago claiming to be from Energy Australia with some kind of discount, they knew my first name. Tried to get some answers about my location, sounded like an Asian/Philipino woman.

Got a call just now. They just hung up.

I got the same thing, energy Australia. Said my number had been specialy selected to receive massive discounts on my energy bill.

I also have had several calls from this number.  I have answered once but there was no one there.  Reading the comments above I have noticed a pattern.  I also have family in the UK and have received these calls shortly after communicating with them.  Also experienced the same thing with VIBER but the number was +0000000000

I keep getting calls from them too. I answered once and It was an Indian person asking me about my new connection with Energy Australia and if I was happy. Then started to ask my details so I just let the [***] talk, put the phone back on the table and kept playing pool!

I have also just received a call from this number but didn't answer I am in Australia

This is quite odd, I am in Australia and for the last couple of weeks all calls I have received from family in New Zealand have come up as this number on caller ID (even though I know they are calling from 4 different phone numbers, both landline and cell) I spoke to Optus and they keep telling me that the number is for a calling card so my family must be using a calling card, however I KNOW this is not what is happening, getting pretty frustrated after 4 calls to Optus all trying to tell me the same thing!

I just received a call from this number.  It's 11.09am, I'm in Melbourne, Australia.  I didn't answer it because a) the number looked weird, b) it  may be a scam, who knows, right?

I have received text messages and phone calls from this number.  The text message asked for my bank details and mailing address to confirm my identification

Got a call from this number tonight telling me they had found suspect charges on my credit card (hotel booking in Guatamala).  Totally false as I check my charges very regularly online.  They had no idea of my name and I suspect they wanted me to give them my credit card number to double check. The person who rang could barely speak English so I told him where he could go.

I keep getting calls from this number. I'm from Melbourne Australia. I havn't answered it and I'm glad that there are websites like this as I was getting worried about who was calling. Up to 15 times per day.

Answered a private number call. Indian claiming to be from some bank informing me that money had been stolen from my bank account. If I could give them my bank account details they would transfer the money into my account. Yeah right. I gave him a bunch of random numbers, he asked what bank and i continued giving him crap. He already knew my name and address. He then told me to call this number 0280073795 and give the reference p27. He was quite adamant that I do this straight away. That was yesterday. I just got a call on my mobile 00011976000, I suspect it's tied up with yesterday's call.

Just got a call from this same number 0001197600 but didn't answer as I was on another call !

I just got a missed call from this number and due to it looking dodgy, I googled the number before thinking of calling it back. I'm glad I did because it seems it was indeed a scam.

I got a call from this number tonight - I've been searching for my lost Dad in KL and thought this might be a call from there....tried to call back but couldn't....Any ideas?

I just recieved a call from this number and no one would answer. i contacted my service provider and they have it logged it. I think hackers and scammers should be  dismemebred in public as they cause undue stress on innocent people.
