Marketing company trying to get me to change power companies. They call twice a week at the moment.

Take care. The guy identified himself as someone from the European Lotteries Draw. He had an Indian accent. My guess is they use this number not to be able to be traced. Called my mobile 2 days in a row. My mobile is not listed.

We have had a gut full of this idiot or idiots calling and hanging up. It would be nice to get my hands on these pricks

I also got a call from this number, but chose not to answer it. I don't think it is linked to international calls/texts as I have never done so. They haven't called back.

I also got 2 calls from the number +84 90 7600500 but didn't answer either. I Googled the area code and found that the call was from Vietnam. Does anyone know this number?

i just got a call from my g/f in philippines...00011976000 came up as call no...i asked her why..she said she did nt know....any ideas???????????????????????????????????

I have been getting calls from this number for the last week. Most of them i have missed. However i answered this morning they said that they were doing a survey on whether i think the prices in my area are too high. Sounded indian or middle eastern.

Received this number many Times but my phone is most of the Time off,it might be a Scammer,had more of them even from +230 this is somewhere in Africa,know a scammer his name is Mark davis,rings from UK and US,but this number is unusal

I have received about 30 to 40 calls from this number. I ended up having to download a blocker app. I answered it twice and they hung up. All other calls voice mail picked up but no message left. Call blocked now automatic bars the call but they are still calling.I wish it would stop.

I've read various reports that this number can appear when an international caller tries to call an Australian number and the callerID system from that othercountry fails to send the ID.

It could actually be ANYONE calling internationally - even someone you know.

My advice:
If you are expecting an international call from someone then answer it.
If you aren't expecting an international call then odd's are it's some sort of sales person and you can go ahead and avoid it.

Called me and asked me for the account holder for my gas and electricity bills.

I have a feeling it's a way of connected overseas calls to Australia.
I work at a business and a lady claiming to be from Optus was needing to speak to an account manager about one of our mobiles and then asked for the last 3 numbers on the mobile (never supplied any mobile number and we have about 30 mobiles with the company) I told her we have a lot of mobiles so I wouldn't know what numbers to give her and she said she would call back in the next hour and asked me not to hang up on her next time. (She called 3 times) First time I hung up because it took 5 seconds for a response and sounded like a junk call and a junk phone number, 2nd time it hung up once I picked it up and 3rd time I waited to see what she said. Was hard to understand (Asian accent) and spoke really fast.
I just think they will be different junk calls from all over the world using some kind of central call centre.

Just had a call from them, I let it go through to the message bank and what came through there was weird.  Just sounded like an engine or something going,  a lot of background noise, and nothing else.  That went on for 2 mins.

I'm starting to wonder whose contact list was leaked.  My mobile number doesn't appear in all that many places..

My mother got this call from this number its 2013 now so it seems like they are back! Annoying people i see the threads here are from 2009. She didnt pick up as the neighbor was weird and her english not very good. Not sure what they are after

They are back at it. I had a missed call and thought it was dodgy.

They have been calling my mobile for 2 days first call I missed second call I answered and got beeped at so I hung up and I have been declining the calls ever since, so far a further 4 calls from that number althought it did go from 11976000 to 00011976000 I have kept a record of these calls.
