I got a call from this number last night thank god i was sleeping i didnt take the call....

Nic's right, it's just how international calls are connected sometimes. My mom accidentally dialed me from overseas and hang up, and I saw this number in the missed calls list instead of her real number.

I keep revives calls from this annoying me

It is  a number from Skype--when I call my own phone this number appears.When o/s is appears as "private number".   It has only done this in the last few days-- so new to me.
It is still possible that it is some type of virus or intrusion.

Very stranger number and very bad feeling when u dont know them and what there are want to.

i just got a call from this number didn't answer but whats weird is they called my landline then my mobile both these number are in different account names

I just got a call from 00011976000...I am in Australia. Caller ID now on my reject list. If only people would put the same amount of effort into earning an honest living, the world would sparkle with positivity...... :) Be safe and aware folks.

I got a call from them at about 1:45pm EST, it was weird 'cause my phone rang for 2 seconds & as i went to press answer, it stopped. :S

I have not made nor received any international calls in the whole time having this phone account.

This called me twice. Somebody talking in the background. Seems like they cannot hear me.

I was on  the phone to Centrelink when I got a call at the same time from this number...

down loaded viber on phone and got a call straight away from this no.they hung up before i answered.

I, too, have had a missed call in the evening from this number. I was at the movies so my phone was on silent. I have deleted it from my missed call record. After reading input at this site, I will certainly not be answering it if it calls again. I had phoned Norway that morning though.

I just got a missed call from that number too. They just rang back and I managed to answer this time. It was Delta Airlines in Sydney calling to follow up on a query about a camera I left on their plane.

Just had this number call me 00011976000 could hear voices in the background, someone having a conversation, I siad Hello, Hello!! but the never heard me, so I hung up.

Says its Microsoft and i told them MICROSOFT NEVER CALLS CUSTOMERS.

I believe this number comes from .Turkey.  My friend sometimes calls me from there and it comes in as this number not his own.  sometimes it also comes via viber though my friend is not on viber

I think it is overseas phone companies using Voip for international calls.  If I manage to answer this number it is always a friend from Turkey.. sometimes the same number comes through Viber
