I am sick to the back teeth of this number calling us  , no one answers . they give you 5 seconds to walk away from the phone and call again . wasting time for a small business  . the telecommunications ombudsman should be doing something about this BUT NO  they dont

Had a call from this number today. Figured it might be a scam when they said they were from the internet security company so i directly asked them are the wanting me to give them remote access because that would not happen and they are wasting my time. Well after a few f bombs they hung up. Definately the old miscrosoft scam just a new name

this number called me 2x in one hour. Who is he/her ?

Someone called to my workplace n asked for me but i havent given anyone this number.

Beware of the phone number 0011976000. It has been confirmed as a south east asian call centre where the callers on the pretext that your computer is faulty get you to go to their online site to download a patch to fix the issue. Of course you are downloading software which steals pretty much everything on your computer. You can register your phone number with www.donotcall.gov.au

Constant calls from this number lately with no response if I answer - which I do to tell them to stop calling.

Them: Hi I would like to talk to XX (my boss)
Me: Can you provide me company information and what this call is in regards to please?
Them: This is personal contact. Would need to talk to him.
Me: Unfortunately I cannot provide you with his details or transfer the call to him as I am unsure what this call is in regards to
Them: Cant you just transfer me, this is a personal call
Me: We have a protocol where, if it is a personal call, anyone within this company would provide their own contact detail and not the company phone line
Them: Oh, okay them. I will try another time
Me: There is no need to try another time, unless it is a legit call and you are willing to provide me your details
Them: Hung up

10 minutes later, they called again.

I too received a call from this number. Nothing wrong. It was a relation in UK calling Aus on a Voip callback system

I have heard that tele marketers and other Bas   tards use this system. How I deal with them is as soon as I identify them as Bas   tards I quickly flick them on to hold while talking to them. This I'm told locks their phone and they can't hang up it locks mine too but I have several numbers so I'm not too worried, I leave it a while then release the hold and hang up.
Try it they deserve it.
