got a call no one was there it happend two days in a row

Received a call @ 1223am from this number.
Answering machine picked up call and needless to say no message was left..

I got a call from this number 0011976000 at 2am.  Iddidn't pick up.

I got a call from this number just now too.  1211pm Saturday 26 April 2014.  Has anybody found out what it is.  I answered and waited a few seconds, there is a recorded female voice that just said: "goodbye" then there is a beep.

I received missed calls 6 or 7 times a few weeks ago and they called back again today. It is an automatic message telling you that they are from QANTAS and want to give you $999.00 as a promotion to use towards flights etc. It tells you to press 1 for more information.
When I pressed 1, I was on hold for a minute or 2 and some guy with an American accent said the same thing and then asked if I was 30 or over. I replied no and tried to tell him to stop calling my number but he had hung up as soon as I told him I was younger than 30!

Each phone extension in our company had over 20 missed call from this number over the weekend & today we have received numerous more. They ask if anyone has had a car accident & when we ask them to stop calling they just hang up

Last call that I answered  I asked them to supply me with an email address so i can email a list of numbers to stop calling but they  just hung up

So weird!  I just received the same call yesterday and today but today said it was for Virgin Australia credit of 999.
Scammers....

Got a call from these people before asking if we had a car accident when you ask where they are calling from they panic and have no response told them I would report it to the police.They then hung up.

I keep getting called at work by this number and they say your last Virgin flight has enabled you to win $995 ??? What the ?

Had 4 calls from this number this afternoon and I'm in Brisbane.  Answer and there is no response on the other end.  I have a whistle handy so might use it next time and hopefully blow some electrical circuitry on their end!  Damn annoying ...

Got a phone call from 0011976000 tonight was just wondering if it was legit or some moron.

Got a couple of calls from this number yesterday - and three more today. Phone rings. Silence when I pick up.

Person asked me someone in my family had been in a car accident in the last week.  When I said no and asked who they were, they hung up.
The person had a very thick accent.

They told me they were from Windows Security. There is something wrong with my computer because it flashes up warning beacons in Windows HQ. Please sit in front of your switched on computer so they they can analyse the fault for me and tell me what to download..
They'll ring on such and such a time on Monday.

I picked up the call cuz thought was my mom calling from overseas... then an indian lady said my internet is hacked and they are receiving hacking data from the server and asked me to hold the call. I was so confused and did hold the call for a few secs then i hang up. She called again sound a bit upset and asked me how come I hang up the phone. I asked her how do you know my internet is hacked? then she said all internet --> telstra, optus tpg blah blah will send data to their server when their clients' internet is hacked. I then said "that's strange, cuz usually they would contact me directly via email". then she hang up.

My people were from virgin airlines. Woman and a man both with indian accents...not american.

The Number belongs to Symantec Corporation. It is an American computer security, backup and availability solutions software corporation headquartered in Mountain View, California, United States. I'm also in Australia

I'm from Australia also. When I answered a woman with what sounded like an indian accent said that my internet connection will be disconnected by tomorrow. I asked what company she was calling from and she hesitated and eventually said she was calling from telstra. I told her that I wasn't with that company and she was persistent in convincing me that I was. After hanging up, 2 seconds later she calls back yelling at me saying "why did you hang up!".
I have no time for this crap. Whoever you are, don't call again.  

The exact same happened to me!!!! Must i day, she was very arrogant and rude.
