Answered the call and told by an Indian man that he was calling from Nationwide Survey. Told him I was not interested and hung up.no doubt they will call again. Only answered because I have been dealing with some Americans recently!

The phone was ringing as I opened the door (Wed 17:45) but it had stopped by the time I got in. There was no message but I rang 1471 and I had missed a call from 001234567890

I've just had two calls from this number, in a short space of time. The first had background noise but then went dead, and when I checked the number on 1471 I googled it and found this site. The second call had no background noise - after a brief silence a female voice said "Goodbye" and hung up. It felt really sinister.

I have enough mental problems without this sort of thing. My pulse is racing. I stopped smoking a month ago but if there was something here to smoke, I'd be back on it again. These people need to be prosecuted. How do I make it stop?

Had two missed calls from 001234567890 on the 2nd nov a minute apart and two today from the same number, dont answer call if dont know who caller is, am registered with tps.

I received 2 calls from this number today. The first time nobody spoke, it was just silence until I went to hang up and what sounded like an automated voice said "goodbye" and the line went dead. I think they were just checking me out to see if it was a real number they were ringing because later on I had another call from the same number. The foreign sounding woman on the other end said she was from an Auckland company called Virus Busters and that their servers had detected that I had downloaded a bug onto my computer that would allow hackers access to my files. She was ringing to talk me through how to go about fixing it. When I asked what she stood to gain from it she just said it was their job to keep New Zealand computers free from hackers. It all sounded very suspicious to me so I told her I would write down what she wanted me to do and look at it later because I was busy. She said she couldn't do that because she actually had to talk me through it while I did it. When I said I needed to know more about it first she hung up on me.

Got a call but was out. Ignored it.

I receive calls from this unknown number 001234567890

We are getting theese calls from 001234567890 three - five times a day, We never answer them , hav'nt a clue who they are. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? They should be prosecuted!

Ive seen on tv that you should never call these types of numbers back as they price of the call is TOP DOLLAR!

I gotta a call from this number. Said they were a telephone provider and could reduce my bill. They then asked who i was with and i said sky. They said how much do you pay and i said i dont know my husband pays it and they hung up on me

tHad a tle call fom this number but went dead. about an hour an a hlaf had another call . After a short time delay a woman called Sharon, with a foreign, possibly American accent asked if I was the owner of  he line and then went onto say something about my insurance policy.  At which point I told her that i did not have one, that this was a scam call and that i wanted to be taken off her list. She hung up. I am concerned whether these 001 calls will end up costing me a lot for having taken it.  Anyone know?

They started with "Hello Sir, I am from IMEC Services"  (or something that sounded like Imec / Imac services)

I put the phone down before they could continue

I just called BT and the number is well known to them and they can't block international calls. This area code is the States. Perhaps we should get Anne Robinson on this one! Watchdog!

I have had this number phone me at least 8 times this week so i phoned my phone company to see if i had been charged and they could not see any charges from this number,I  then used a company called CPR to block all unwanted calls seems to have worked fingers crossed

I've just received my first call from 001234567890. I have caller ID on my phone. It's a strange number and I'm not going to answer them.
