I had a call today from somebody with an Asian accent who said he was contacting me because there was errors on my windows operating system, but I didn't have any problems at all.001234567890 was the number.Please be weary of any body calling you with this number.

I am truly fed up with this number, 001234567890. I have had 3 calls today alone, it it persistant and has been going on for some time. I am practically getting this call at least once a day. I pick up the phone and say nothing. and it hangs up. Today I answered and a man with a foreign accent asked to speak to me. He new my mane. I put the phone down. It is high time it was made a criminal offence as they are just getting away with it.

I wouldn't advise ringing this number back because it sounded long distance and could be a premium number, who knows? This number should be blocked by BT and all the Phone companies, it is not rocket science they can get to Mars for goodness sake. Phone companies are you listening? Do something!

I have been regularly called by 001234567890 and there is no response from who ever is calling.

I have been plagued  by this number they keep phoning asking for a mrs plant. well im sorry to say my mum died ova a year ago and has never lived at my address it has been very upsetting for me they say I have a problem with my computer and they say there from Microsoft uuuummm if I had a problem with my comp it would probably tell me so!!! I just want them to leave me alone!!

I posted a report, which I think was helpful, but you appear to have removed it.  I shall waste no more time.   In my opinion it was quite helpful.  Sorry you don't think so.

got call today from this number as normall did not answer it but when checked answering machine it was not recorded on the system.

My wife took a call tonight, Caller said his name was Michael and we had a problem with our computer. My wife told him it's a con goodbye. I expect to hear from them again.

I heard my telephone blocker beep and checked my caller ID and found 001234567890 was attempting to get through to my phone (although I can switch off the beep I like to have advanced warning of a possible call).

To get through to my phone they would have had to press a button their end which eliminates robocalls.  Next they would have to give their name.  

Amazing how shy these folks are which leaves my phone in peace and no message on the answer phone.

This number called today when i answered they knew my name and said they had been receiving error messages all day long from my computer. Put phone down as did not sound right. It was a foreigner probably Asian.

Just got a call from these guys.  Apparently our computer was sending error messages when it shut down.  I asked which company he was from - he said "World Wide Web Services,  when you type www.  that is us" - I said no your not - I was in IT for many years - he put the phone down

Just received a call from this number,001234567890, when i answered the line just went dead,

Got the number from 1471 did not return call

Sick of these idiots who can't even think for themselves. Tell them you work for Microsoft .....and they don't know how to react and eventually panic and put the phone down. Alternatively tell them you don't know what a computer is! It is infuriating getting these calls but at times it's great winding them up!

Just had a call from this number. Told me his name was 'Eric Jones' in a very Indian accent. (I did indeed scoff and repeat 'Eric Jones?' is a really sarcastic manner. Then told me I had problems with my computer. I asked him to tell me what my computer was. He told me it was windows based. I told him I had a mac, told him to [***] and stop wasting my time. Hung up. Ta daa!!!

Called me. Is there a site which either (or preferably both) names who it is and can report them (to whoever gives them the number and the authorities) and stops them from calling, even when calling the UK from overseas? Surely the UK has cross links with international companies?

Had this number phone me today a Saturday about  problem on my computer just told him that I wasn't interested and put the phone down. Think it was from America

This scam company and number has been plaguing my v elderly parents. They do not use a computer so how can have error messages. I have told them not to call but a few months layer they start again. I wish the prime minister and his party got all of the calls. May then something would be done about it.

Foreign accent, I think Indian, "We are receiving error reports that you did not properly shut down your computer." I just hung up this time. Obviously a scam. Similar scams have tried to sell anti-virus / scanning packages etc after convincing you that your computer has a problem. Note these people can guide you to error messages on your PC that look serious - when in fact they are all a normal part of your machine's operation. Don't be fooled.

The caller with an Asian accent told me I had an infection on my computer which wasn't switched on at the time. He refused to give me his phone number which was 001234567890 when I used 1471.  I said I would report him.
