    001234567890 (spoofed number no doubt) called me last night at 19:57 I answered but they hung up straight away.
    I would have loved to discuss my computer problems with them.

    It's a game; you have to keep them on the phone for as long as possible. I once had a "Windows Technical Advisor" on the line for over forty minutes until he got fed up with my stupidity and hung up on me.

    The same number called me at 9.27am on 22 December, I picked up after about 6 rings and no one answered. The phone went dead. I generally don't call back numbers I don't know. Instead I will check them out on Google and I did. The comments were not surprising. There are lots of scams out there wasting people's time and it's annoying to say the least. If they call back I will contact my home phone provider with the number.
