This number calls me everyday. I answered it the first time and they asked for my boyfriend I told them this wasnt his phone and then they asked for his number. I asked who it was and they said it was a private matter . The guy got really shirty with me because I wouldnt give it to him. We have recently got a Sky account so that would add up.They are none stop with the calls now even though ive told them it wasnt his phone number.Odd!

They told me they were from Sky and asked me if my sky was working ok and hung up. I rang Sky and they were very confused by it. I rang the number back up and the line has no sound or tone whatsoever.

i have been getting calls from here to they ask for my hubby and wont tell me what its about...next time they call think my hubby will have under gone a sex change so i can get this sorted as he works till late and they never phone in the evenings only mid day hope it is sky as my new sky+ box is crap and dont work tidy maybe then they will do something with it lol

Called me and told me that the call was recorded and I swear I heard laughter in the background. :P

(008001218143) SCAMMERS - phoned asking me to renew SKY protection plan - knew my street but not my number started asking for details - hung up on them advise you hang up on them too)- sky have had complaints about this scam - they are aware but dont know how the scammers are getting the info sky also ask for a password when they phone you, these guys didnt and SKY only phone you if you phone them - if they do ask you for a password give a wrong answer and see if you get through - (9 times out of 10 you will)

got a call from 008001218143 re sky insurance. THIS IS NOT SKY. DO NOT subscribe to anyone purporting to be somenone they are not. 00800 is an international freephone number whereupon if you call it back will cost you in excess of £15.00 for being on hold for 30mins......beware, this is what some people have experienced. DO NOT CALL IT or other numbers starting with 00800.

I got a call from this number today also,around 6pm from a woman called Stephanie who was calling on behalf of Sky about their protection plan - sounded genuine but when she wanted bank details I said that sky already had them as I pay by direct debit and didn't know them off-hand. She said that she "would happily wait while I got my bank details as she had nothing to do til 9 o'clock!" I cut the call off and got another call about 7.30pm which i ignored.

they keep ringin me as well. the first time they rang me they were fine and said they wud stop ringing as i was not interested in what they were saying. but now they r literally pranking me. the phone will flash n by the time i have had time to answer it, they have rung up. this has happened around 15 times this week... who are they??

They are still calling me 2-3 times every day, and i keep ignoring it but it's so damn annoying!! Anyone know how to stop these clowns ringing??

They call me every night getting p****d off with it now going to see if i can put a block on it.This number only started to happen as soon as i had sky fitted so if they read this message get a life !!!!!

I got a call and it was on behalf of Sky offering me insurance for my sky equiptment. I have just called 0800 083 2432 to be removed from the calling list. It'll take up to 30 days for your number to be removed for the list so no doubt I'll get a few more calls from them before then..

im still getting calls from these for my hubby they told me why they were calling they said it was about sky so i told them i dont have sky but they still keep phoning now i play their game so now when they phone i wait for them to say hello then i hang up see how they like it..

Confirmed scammer , selling equipment protection apparently on behalf of sky (sky are aware of the problem and suggest to either report to Ofcom or join the TPS service)
When they call inform them that you have registered for the TPS service and as such they are committing an offence by cold calling you. Then report the scumbags to Ofcom

I'm really chuffed I landed home early from work today. This number had been ringing us all week and left no message. They have just rung and I was here to answer it. They asked to speak to the Sky account holder(my wife) they eventually agreed to talk to me, I asked if they were Domestic & General "James" eventually said yes. I told him the box is fine, covered under warranty for 1 year+for a further 5 years under the Sale of Goods Act. The young scamp on the end of the phone or "mate" has he kept calling me  said the SOGA was down to the manufacturer, he told me at the start the call may be recorded + I told him I hoped it was as it could then be used for his training development. Be as aggressive back to them as he was trying to be with me, I told him I don't need insurance cover and if it breaks down I'll deal with Sky and no-one else. I said I wsa sick of them ringing here he said they hadn't and the system said it was their first call, I said liar I've checked your number on "who calls me" he laughed and said don't believe everything you read on the net, I laughed back saying "they've got your number thats how I knew it was you". He tried to get away at this point, I'm pleased to say that I managed a total call time of 5minutes & 18seconds  of giving them as much grief as they try to give us, and he said he would remove the number from their system.

Sorry for the rant, but boy oh boy do I feel better for speaking to them.
