don,t give this number any info  it is a scam

i have called my mobile company and they tell they can't help, i have allso blocked this number but it just keep calling.

We receive a call from this number purporting to come from Domestic and General on behalf of Sky.
The usual scam but she was unable to tell me the date policy expired.

I have been getting the same calls at least once a day! Its really annoying but from peoples comments it seems to be SKY related which I have just had installed so makes sense!!!!

If you are contacted by people using this number purporting to be from Sky it is a SCAM.

1) Sky Protect Competitors - beware of unofficial 'Sky insurance' & warranties scams

Sky Protect provided by Domestic & General is the only repair plan endorsed by Sky. There may be other companies out there who claim to offer a Sky endorsed repair plan or Sky insurance; but they don't. Only with Sky Protect do you get a Sky repair plan you can trust to keep your equipment in safe hands.

2) Don't be misled

Other companies can offer a repair plan or insurance to protect your digital satellite equipment. But they can't say they are Sky or that they are contacting you with Sky's permission. They are acting unlawfully if they do.

Sky has successfully taken a number of companies, including Satellite Direct UK Ltd and Satcover Ltd, to court for misleading Sky customers in this way.

3) How did these companies get my data?

We can assure you that we never authorise the disclosure of our customers' details to these companies, nor do we permit these companies to use Sky customers' information in any way.

Sky continues to actively monitor and investigate companies selling repair plans or insurance for digital satellite equipment that it receives complaints about, including the source of the data used by those companies.

4) Make sure you're talking to Sky Protect

Sky Protect, the official Sky Repair service is provided and administered by our trusted partner Domestic & General. Our protection plan was developed especially for Sky customers and ensures you receive a high quality service - including Sky Qualified Engineers.

If you're contacted by a company claiming to offer a Sky service plan or Sky insurance or calling on behalf of Sky or Domestic & General here's what to look out for:

5) Ask for the name of their company (if they are not from Domestic & General they are not officially approved or endorsed by Sky)

6) Ask the name of the plan they offer (if it is not Sky Protect, it is not officially approved or endorsed by Sky)

7) Ask them to confirm your Sky account number, your box type and when you first subscribed to Sky (only Sky Protect will have these details)

If they can't give this information to you, they're not Sky Protect www.skyprotect.com Simple.

I have just had a call from them they are called the claims guys and want to claim back ppi for you but charge a fortune to do so.

This company tries to sell us insurance on goods we purchased a long time ago that we've explained (three times) we are replacing because they are defective!
Desperate commission hungry sales staff with no regard for the prerequisites in the overpriced policies they sell.

They appear to know EXACTLY (down to the model number) what we have in the home,which suggests that our data is getting to them in some unlawful way.
If you take out a policy this doesn't stop the calls nor does explaining you don't need one. Number Blocked
