Call from this number at 1.30pm. Did not recognise number so let it go to answerphone. No message left so another number to add to my "call barer" list which gets longer by the day! Still, it works, as I have cut down considerably on these wretched people wasting my time.

Calls several times each day but always cuts out after only one ring.

Claimed to be "Renewable Energy Initiative" but they knew I had responded to an (illegal) automated call a while ago and I tracked that down to:

This number appears to be operated by morons!  The first call - around 1 week ago - asking for 'Mr and/or Mrs Winter', They were told 'wrong number'.  Three days later - another call for 'Mr and/or Mrs Winter' - again told it was a wrong number!  Another call today at 15:21 - again asking for 'Mr and/or Mrs Winter' - called seems very surprised when advised it was a wrong number - was even more surprised when told to F*** Off!!

usual stuff! phone rings, and when you pick up nobody answers!

Got a tip from pal who had been advised by BT that it is good practice when you are called to lift receiver, but say nothing.

Allegedly the 'phoning company's kit if it gets an answer, but no voice, drops the number called off their data base. Don't know if this works, but I gave it a try with this call.

I answered them with "silence" They said nothing , and then they rang off after around 10-15 seconds.

Phone rang, I picked up the handset, but did not speak. They put the phone down after 5 seconds. They have rang back again a couple of times and I done the same thing. I am going to add the number to my calls barred list.

Called me at 17:51. No answer. What on earth is this?

no response when answered. Get at least three junk calls a day when trying to sleep. Can't someone deal with this problem?
