- fredanother con number. I know times are hard but to earn by scaming people is surely below the line . as this number has not been given out where did they get it .
- A.NonRings, then nothing when answered.
- amlwchCall received from this number this morning. Caller wanted to talk to me about my computer - and hung up when I said I did not have one. Obviously, another scam! (TPS seems to be ineffective).
- Tam| 1 replyThis is not a real UK number. Before slagging off the TPS service might I suggest you read their web site to learn what they can and cannot do. You are way off beam for a variety of reasons.
- WuggattReceived a call from this number and they did not speak when I answered - want these calls stopped. Waste of time being with the TPS
- robPhoned today @ 18:15. Phone dead when answered.

- Bill Action| 1 reply1157 today auto call re solar panels that awoke my wife trying to sleep following surgery. Scam to generate a market into buying call blockers. Best to unplug phone until you need to use it. If it is important or close friends let them get your mobile. Write to your phone company to get them to block the call and if it’s them that are facilitating this number and activity, to fine and close down any misuse of telecoms. Counter charge your phone company 10 pence a nuisance call plus price of letter posted recorded delivery requesting a written response and refund. Repeat this with your mobile nuisance calls at £1.50 per call. MPs will not be interested, but share holders will. Bill Action

- Peterjust had a silent, by the time I answered anyway.
if that kitchen crap had them 20 times in last 6 weeks - Lazer_kGot home to an answer phone message from this bunch - some random guy at a call centre and he hadn't realised the call had gone through to answerphone and was busy chatting to a colleague saying he was going to make a new years resolution not to chat up Hannah. Thanks pal but I'm not interested, likewise I'm not interested in what ever you're trying to sell
- claireAnother silent call. Fed up with these people!
- rozRecieved this call and I never answered but as I dont have an answering machine it kept ringing and ringing so I answered and hung up quickly now its completely blocked my house number no-one can phone in and I cant phone out what so I do?
- barryThey are at it again, answered, no-one there.
- Henry WoodThis is either a cold call sales / or a scam / or a phishing number. They were intercepted on my BT8500 CallBlocker phone and as they never answered the challenge from the BT Guardian software their call was blocked. It was a simple matter at the end of the day when I checked the calls list shown on the phone to permanently block this number.
I really cannot recommend these BT8500 phones too much! I have nothing to do with them, other than being a satisfied customer using this phone set on my TalkTalk landline. All you need is "Caller Display", and these phones, and then cold calls, nuisance calls, *any* calls YOU do not want become a thing of the past. I am now experiencing peace, perfect peace, after years of unwanted intrusions.
I liked the results so much I even bought my sister and her husband a pair of these phones for Christmas. They simply cannot believe how much it has changed their life in giving them peace in the evenings.
*PLEASE BE AWARE* - I have nothing to do with BT or TalkTalk. Check my comments going back years and you will see I have tried other "callblockers" in the past. They were ... OK.
This BT8500 works! Every single time. The only reason I am writing all of this is in the hopes that many others will take this route and then those accursed cold callers/scammers etc., may realise their days are numbered. Thank you for reading. - Henry Wood replies to Bill ActionDear "Bill Action" - I have now bought 3 different CallBlockers, each one being an improvement on the last and to say these cold callers are a "scam to generate a market into buying call blockers" only shows your ignorance of this whole subject.
As for "counter charging your phone company 10 pence a nuisance call plus plus price of recorded delivery letter" ... blah, blah, blah, ... please do let us know when you have managed to extract the very first 10p from your phone company.
THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE!
You are talking rubbish and until you come back with proof of your foolish actions paying dividends, I suggest you use a more common sense approach. Buy a callblocker like the BT8500. It will cost you less in the long run than all of those recorded delivery letters seeking 10p !!! - Henry Wood replies to TamWell said, Tam, These are known as "spoof" numbers and though they may appear as originating from the UK they can be "spoofed" from most countries overseas then used for their criminal/cheating/nefarious purposes.
These calls cannot be stopped by UK authorities because they do not originate from the UK. They *CAN* be stopped with a suitable CallBlocker like the BT8500 which I recently bought. Result: Peace, perfect peace! - JimAbout Kitchen recycling
