Call no 9 yesterday 3pm; missed it - bother!

What kind of madness is this call about? Called persistently till I answered and then it was silent. How on earth does the regulator allow such pests to disturb people's peace?
I'm beginning to believe that these companies pay off the regulators to allow them continue with nuisance calls.

I have had repeated calls from this number, and usually they have been silent. Then a couple of days ago, a Scottish lady asked to speak to the householder so I said the house is rented and she needed to speak to the landlord. She apologised and hung up and I thought that would be the end of it. Today, however she called again and asked for me by name. She got as far as "We are a windows comparison site" before I interrupted and told her I am registered with the TPS. She then apologised again and said she would remove my number from their database. I know they will call again though.

This lot rang today.
TPS is useless.
Get "Caller ID", and don't pick up any number out of your area, or any you don't recognise.
Then perhaps they'll go away.

Another scam call about free kitchen upgrades at a bargain price. I blocked this number but they probably will call again from another number. Ongoing unwanted spam calls, how do we stop them?

Another few tries today and maybe they'll get beyond a few seconds of call centre noise or the traditional 'the other person has cleared' hope they'll think my whistle was worth the effort.

A new nuisance number!

"Jenny" phoned from UK Energy. I asked her to remove my number from database as we have TPS. Number reported to TPS.

They are being a pain answer nothing on the other end.

Called yesterday, hung up as soon as I answered.

Phone at 6.30am and 16.18 am same day

Why should I be put to the additional expense of buying a BT call blocker and the monthly call recognition service cost, when BT must have the technology to block these calls at source?
Its like buying a car but paying extra to make sure it works.---- bad example of course you have to --all life is a scam.

Called at 0909 on 20/02/2015. Went dead after I said "Hello".

Called this afternoon, he said the company name but I don't recall what it was. He said "don't worry, it's not a sales call".
"Of course it is" I said.
"What is it with you people? Why do people like you always assume the worst?"
"Why do people like you call people who are registered with the TPS?"
"You must be f**king mental to bother with the TPS..."

As soon as he accused me with profane language I hung up on him.

6 calls from this number in 5 days. I do not answer as don't recognise the number. Pretty annoying though.

last night 8.30pm and just now (Saturday) 6.40pm.
rings about 5 times then cuts off.
bliddy annoying.

Keep getting calls from this number. Silent when answered. Sick of needlessly being disturbed by calls from this and many other anonymous unsolicited callers

Called me today - SUNDAY!!!!  At 4.33pm.   I did not pick up.

Called at 14.25 on 23/04/15 no answer
