Just got a call from them, recorded message started, put phone down and have banned them after looking them up on this site. Thanks for the info.

Guys, it's very easy to stop these:

"Good Morning/Afternoon, (your local towns name) police station"

They quiver and hang up. Also removing you from call lists and from selling on your details

Good idea, but it only works if you are speaking to a real person. No use if it's a recorded message.

Report them, every single one, to the ICO https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/calls/

Just had plus net installed on a brand new phone number 2 hours later received  a call 'wrong mumber'  following day 01122... solar panels !

Add me to the list 9 pm and the football is on TV. answer the phone to a Mickey mouse number?,  "yor 'aving a larf"

Not able to get to phone in time, not that it rang very long. 3rd call from this no, 1st one was silent.  

Recently got myself new telephone with callguard facility, got the bt8500 system , you can get them from most suppliers, prices can vary quite a bit, the results are dramatic, I am absolutely delighted.
However it is vital that your phone line has calling line identity for the system to do the job.
I received one of these calls this evening ,however the system answered the call and I was totally unaware as the system answered the call on my behalf , it acts as a virtual receptionist!
I have no axe to grind , other than to say that I am a pensioner and was constantly being irritated by nuisance calls prior to buying my new phones at Xmas.

Not necessarily this number BUT as recommended in an earlier entry above it may be a premium number.

Don't press any of the numbers suggested. One call I had admitted that he was not wasting his time because he did not phone me as it was a "voicemail" but by pressing 2 I had phoned him and I was paying £1.50 per minute and I had been on over two minutes.

BE WARNED you think you are wasting their time and they are making £90 per hour.

Just had a call, yes it's 19.45  no day time jobs for these sort of calls. makes me really cross that we should get calls like this at all hours of the day and night.  it must worry a lot of people living alone. never used to get calls like this now every day. I think i am going to scream so fed up with them

There is no such number, 0112 has never been issued as a dialing coe.

It is a fake 'Spoofed' number from outside of the UK.

This number is calling me every day. Presumably keeps trying because I have a blocking feature on my phone now. Had it a month, and it works a treat with numbers like this!

Fourth call from this number. Incredibly a human called Archie spoke asking if I had received £500 energy voucher.  Said not interested. We'll see if they try again....

First time this year this No called - was popular caller 2014

Caller claimed to be the Renewable Energy Association, who are a reputable organisqation.  Tried to get information from me.  I see from some postings that they are trying to stop sites like this, so this site is working!

Had a call from this number on my cellphone this morning.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise so it went to voicemail, but they didn't leave any message.
