That is exactly the same message I've got, with the same names.

I am new to job search market, after 10 years in the same company, -- so only had yellow flags (travel for recruiters? really? why not over the phone and look over to my resume?).
Now after this thread, it's RED RED flag. Thank you people for this information, helps deflecting the scammers.

I am another one.  I saw a job on an online website where I ticked all the boxes so decided to send off my CV.  Next thing I know is I got the same message from PCS.  I have been to see them, but they want £2,000 (plus VAT) for the privilege of helping me and taking it to the next level.  Apparently my CV is badly laid out, but everyone who sees it says that it is great! Like other posters, I thought that there was a law about recruitment agencies sharing CV's.  Apparently not.

Just submitted the same info below on this site but for a different number (02078375881) but thought it wise to share my experience with the same company working under a different number.

WOW!!!!!!

A lot of the above has happened to me over the last few months. Email after email has flooded my inbox asking for a meeting with a Scott Curtis, Regional Director (Portsmouth/Southampton area). Just before Christmas I replied to the eighth or ninth email and received a call within a day to organise a meeting. I am currently seeking new employment so like others, thought that they had obtained my CV from one of the various job sites I have signed up to.

The meeting was today which lasted about 45-60 mins, in a small office, no signs of other staff and no sign on his door, name or company. Is this room rented by the hour? He talked about the unadvertised job market and how PCS were well placed to coach, maximise career potential and provide me with details to on how to get my "foot in the door". No exact fee was mentioned other than "a few thousand pounds plus vat". Hmmmm!

I actually asked my regional guru how they had come by my CV and he replied through various lists they are privvy to. I'd like to know which sites has sold my details on to them!!

I'll wait until he calls back and and politely say no, but that's only due to the fact he provided me with another number for a contact (his nephew working for Fast Stream) which I'll check out tomorrow. I wonder if his nephew is actually the Deputy Regional Director for PCS?????

I'll be asking my mate who runs a London based logistic recruitment company if he's heard anything about PCS and will post details if worth it.

I received an email yesterday along the very same lines.

Got phone call today inviting me to a meeting with 'our Senior Partner Nick Storey' at a Rgus building in Reading.... 1st alarm bell

moments after reading the email, I got a 2nd email, where I had indeed changed sex from a 'Mr' to a 'Ms', which stated off by mentioning my CV had been viewed, and please call for an appointment to see our Senior Partner.... 2nd alarm bell

Finally online, searching for the names Nick Storey and Rebecca Ripley, owner of rebecca.ripley@p-c-s.uk.com, AND email@pcs-email.co.uk, I cam across your website.

Thanks for the good work, stopped me making a long and expensive round trip

I got a call from Rebecca Ripley, who arranged a meeting for me tomorrow with Nick Storey.  Something did not seem right!!!

Glad that I searched them.

It's PCS - a career management company - not the same as a recruiter but useful all the same
