This the whois to the url hyperlinks in the messages. The mailing list looks like its held by EMV [email vision] and their details point to France ........ Note the ridiculous email address below and the phone numbers. France has stringent privacy laws, so it may be worth someone pursuing that angle.

Keep getting emails and phone calls from this outfit too. Been going on for months. Keeping unsubscribing, then they pop up again from another member of staff.

If they have really got thousands of people back to work like they claim, the Job Centre would be a bit quiet!

    Dear All

I have received emails from Rebecca Ripley and Katie Falkingham in identical terms but desperate to arrange a meeting with a senior manager by the name of Martyn Pearce who will help me to tap into the unadvertised market to further my career.

I was suspicious as to how this company obtained my details in the first instance as I had never provided them with a copy of my CV and so assume it must have been harvested or stolen from another site.  In addition to the emails I have received 5 calls over a two day period from Katie Falkingham insisting I make contact.

Having research this so called Apollo Group/PCS I am not impressed with its background or track record as it appears to be a method of scamming or extracting money in the guise of offering genuine employment prospects.

The emails are all in a standard format and are very misleading and under no circumstances should they be responded to.

    Hi JCC,

    Same here.

Everyone, please report them to the Information Commissioner. They are breaching the Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations.

Marketing emails must have an opt out option and they must not contact you when you have opted out.

It's a very simple complaints process. Fill out a form and email. You can find it here
    http://search.ico.org.uk/ico/search/searchlin ... 76e6c6f61643d31.

I've complained. The ICO can take enforcement action including hefty fines.

Received a text from this number and an email regarding their senior
    Director in their Reading office.
Looked quite professional, BUT I checked them
On company check and this so called senior
    Director does not appear
They also had a similar company that went pop
and re-appeared with the UK part in the name re-arranged.
BEWARE OF KATIE, LISA MUST HAVE LEFT.

I am glad that I found this website today!
I had my phone call today and wasn't convinced by them - even though I am now booked in to meet Mr Wozniack later this week - I think that people who work for companies such as these are utter scum - jobsites such as CV-Library and Jobsite etc result in a load of Emails from chancers who are looking to make a quick buck from those who can spare the cash least of all.

However desperate you might feel whilst searching for a job - especially as a middle aged person in this terrible job market - remember if is seems too good to be true then it is...

    Here's what I received:

    Dear Ms.
I am pleased to confirm your appointment with Richard Wozniak at our Nottingham office on  XXXXX at XXXX. The office address and directions are at the foot of this email for your reference or can be found at www.p-c-s.uk.com  Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment which will enable us to meet you promptly and allow you to maximise your time with the consultant.

The meeting will include an extensive review of your CV in addition to an objective appraisal of your current situation. Please bring the most up to date copy of your CV with you to the meeting.
Richard Wozniak will now carry out some preparatory work prior to the meeting and is looking forward to meeting you.

Please confirm receipt of this email so that I know that you have received your confirmation and directions.

    Yours sincerely

I met with Richard Wozniak recently and the Regus offices sent alarm bells ringing. I'm used to be a Regus Gold member and the idea of an established large company using Regus offices seemed odd to say the least. He also claimed that PCS owned Monster as well as other well known job sites, this seemed odd... So I looked up UK APOLLO GROUP LIMITED who run PCS on Duedill and they are a small two bit company and not the large successful company they pretend to be.

If I am honest he came up with some decent sounding info, but the idea of paying them £2k to £17k. That's right £17k! Seems insane. Regus is a great way for lil'ol me to meet clients, but I am transparent with them in telling them I haven't got permanent offices! Its just me!

Anyway, I played dumb and said thanks. But I don't plan to be using their services, I'm pretty confident in my abilities to get a job without forking out several thousand pounds...

I worked for this company way over a year ago, they are VERY dodgy and it is a sales pitch. I have just found out from my housemates boyfriend that they're still using my name on emails and marketing and am appalled - I dont want my name to be associated with this company.

They trawl through various job search sites looking for people who earn over 30,000 a year then email them, and anyone who calls back is booked in for a sales pitch. They wont help you to get a job, if you do sign up they will just consult with you. In London you have to be on over £100,000 a year to get the pitch (unless we get desperate and start trawling lower amounts).

I left with them owing me money, they even tried to mess up my next job for me by giving a bad reference but luckily I'd worked at the next place long enough for them to disregard it.

They dont own Monster, Totaljobs or Job Site, when I worked there we frequently got banned from using them for days at a time for violating the sites code. (aka spamming workers). A co worker looked in to them and found there was a company thathad to be disbanded and suddenly about 12 new companies were set up in different names.

The reason the amounts differ so much is because they change it dependent on how much they think you are likely to agree to. The package is the same. Lisa left over a year ago too but they seem to like to carry on using peoples names after they've left (and not surprisingly the turnaround is pretty high).

I can confirm that the texts ARE spam. I can also confirm that if you get taken off the mailing list you are likely to be picked up from the next trawl of the jobsite and be added straight back on.

    Do not get sucked in.

Thanks to all who took the time to write about this company. Following a number of missed calls I received an email confirming the regional director wanted to meet me tomorrow after reviewing my CV. I have never sent my CV to p-c-s, John Biggs (director) or his PA Katie Falkingham. It is worrying that such info gets into the hands of these people. So pleased I decided to look into this before calling them. Have unsubscribed ( to something I never subscribed to) and will complete the complaint form above.

Five pages of complaints and waffle from the company and then there is you!  As the post before yours was three days ago you have searched for this site to see if anyone was being unkind to this wonderful company.  Make a note: people who hae had a good experience with a company do not search for a site used to report unknown, unwanted or scam calls and texts and share information, unless they are part of the company.

Yep, same old story as everyone else here too!  Get an email from a 'Lee Bako' saying he's keen to contact me (I know you are Lee, you've called 5x in 24hours, then an SMS).  Finally I reply to email asking him to outline how he can help me, silence for 48 hours. Then Geoff Stevens 'PA to Regional Director' emails saying he's been trying to call me - err no you haven't, no missed calls from you!

Clearly a scam, and I'm glad that you can block numbers from ios7 now .... Guess what I'm doing!!
