I received an unsolicited email from this Company stating that their MD Simon Hudson was so impressed by my CV that it was imperative to meet asap! Quite funny really as I'm nearly 70; and am not currently interested in a new long term career. Perhaps they're lining me up as a 'Saga' rep

Scammers, the lot.

I got the "...asked me to contact you..." message on behalf of Paul Braybrooke today from a Hannah Freeman.  Thanks to my habit of keeping all my old emails I was very pleased to be able to email back and say that her predecessor "Aimee" had contacted me first in August of last year and that I had replied saying that I would be delighted to meet Mr Braybrooke for networking but that I couldn't pay him anything because I was already receiving paid-for outplacement counselling from a firm hired by my previous employers.  Needless to say, "Aimee" never got back to me with a date for the meeting.

I'm thinking that "Hannah" isn't going to either now, which is a shame in a way....I have consultancy work to keep me fed and watered and I quite fancy taking a day off to meet Mr Braybrooke and wind him up....

Ah well, back to the spreadsheets.....good luck everyone.

I called the second to book an appointment but had a bad feeling about it. They wanted to meet me in an airport 'office' aka room-by the-hour. I haven't even spoken to the guy involved - Richard Wozniak. I'm not prepared to waste my time.
