01133440001 keep calling its an automated service on behalf of GE Money Topman It asks if a unpronouchable name could call.  I do not own any store cards but they can't remove my number.  I have had 10 or so calls over the past 3 weeks.

I got a mate who is also gettin phone calls from this number! She has change her number numerous times but they still seem to get back in touch!

I think its a company called GE Money- they handle the Debenhams accounts. Everytime you owe them money they call relentlessly. They have a base in leeds, but I think the calls are routed from India.

I have now been called by 01133440001 on several occasions and on ringing back it says that the number doesn't accept incoming calls but on answering on one occasion I can now confirm that the call was from GE Money. I was also receiving annonymous calls from 08701240200 and this was from GE Money too. I managed to contact a customer service manager at this company who was able to confirm that it wasn't me or anyone in my household that they wished to speak to and that the calls would stop. This was last week but today (Sunday) I have again received calls from both these numbers so my advise is never do busness with GE Money because they will make annonymous calls to you until you go MAD

Same as! Called, I answered the phone, nobody there. If it were from some form of collection agency it would be in their best intrest to say something, bloody annoying as it just woke my daughter up!

They called me before 9am this morning - my only day off this week!! I answered, there was no one there. I did have topshop card, so it could be GE money, but I have no outstanding balance on this card - i cut it up about 2 years ago!

They are ringing on ave 3 times a day. often as late as 21:00 hrs

Found this number on my phone but I didn't recognise it. When i rang back there was a recorded message saying this number does not accept incoming calls.
I live in the Leeds area but do not know who this number belongs too.

I think it IS GE Money, as my son owes Burtons money, £4.47 according to his statement!

The annoying this its's my day off, after 14 12 hour shifts, and they woke me up at 08:20, then hung up!

MY guess what is happening here is this.

They are calling by computer dialing form India, when we answer it tries to connect the call to an agent, and maybe one isn't free, so it hangs up.

My son is tardy with his bill paying, so we frequently receive a call from GE, where a robotic voice starts saying this call is from GE Capita, and at that point I hang up if he's not there.

Just got a call from this number (01133440001), answered the phone, then they hung up.

I had a missed call this evening from this number. I didn't know who it was but after reading the other messages on here, it is probably a collecting company chasing me for a missed payment on my Burton account. I received a letter from them a couple of days ago regarding my account.

keep calling 4-5 times per day leave no message clogg up the machine and will not answer calls back! AAAHHH!!!

I was receiving calls from GE Money for an unknown person - presumably the previous owner of my new number. After a while I decided to contact GE to advise them that they were now calling a wrong number. Got through to India who insisted that I send a letter to explain what was happening. I told them that it was their problem, not mine and that sending them a letter is just as anonymous as my phonecall, so why waste my time. Eventually persuaded her to pass me to her supervisor who gave me the number for GE Fraud: 0870 5168518 (tried to get a landline number, but no luck).

GE Fraud are based over here, so that makes life easier. Fraud have been very polite and genuinely try to be helpful, though my two calls to them have resulted in assurances that they've spoken to the correct department and that the calls will now stop. I'm now being badgered by different numbers and more frequently...

Perhaps if we all hassle the Fraud department they'll get hacked off and put pressure on management to sort this out.

Next time I'll ask Fraud to put me through to the offending automated calls department or see if I can get a contact number for them.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Further to my comment above, I continued to receive automated calls. Yesterday I called Fraud again on 0870 5168518. Again, the person I spoken to was very amiable. I found out that the department which sets up these calls is called 'Dialler Specialists'. If the person you are speaking to hasn't heard of them, suggest they call 'Service Delivery' to get more info. Fraud won't put you through to Dialler Specialists or give you a number as they do not deal directly with anyone external (surprise surprise), but they will advise them of your number and your situation. Provided you have a legitimate reason not to be called by them (ie, wrong or out-of-date number) they should stop the calls.

I was warned that the calls are preset about 24 hours in advance so I may have received more calls today; however, I didn't. Hurrah!

I have been receiving calls from the 01133440001 number and also 08701240200 which are both GE Money - I have a Debenhams account which I have missed one £4 payment last month - I have since paid £40.00 but am still getting calls :(

This number keeps calling me and i dont answer but when i call back, i just get a dead line and its starting to anoy me to be honest..

i get these calls about 3 times a day they phoned me this mornin my only day off at 8.20am for me to get to the phone and no1 answers i swear im gonna go mental next time, they fone u at stupid times of the day
