i have been recieving calls fromn this number and like the others no one is talking.i found out through here it is ge money.and they are harrassing people and causing distress.i have 2 young kids under 12 who were assaulted when young and also abducted over a year ago.the kids are now getting scared in case the person who abducted them has found out my phone number.i had bhs gold card and last october i made my monthly payment.howeverthey claim they didnt recieve it i spent a fortune on phone calls to them trying to sort it out.they asked me to get confirmation from my bank that i paid it.i provided them with the confirmation then they told me my bank myst put a trace on this missing payment.my bank has informed me that they cant do that as they have confirmed ithe payment was made,it hasnt been returned as it would have went back into my account,i wrote explaining this and told them i was sick of this and it should have been sorted out ages ago. i did get a reply last week saying the missing payment was being investigated and this should take around 4 weeks,ive decided i will withold payments until this soerted and this must be why they are calling.they are a very ubrupt and ignorant company i would never have anything to do with them again.i am sure that 4 or 5 phonecalls a day and in late evening is bordering on the lines of harrassment and is illegal.i will be looking further into this

I've had numerous calls from 01133344 etc and the 0870 number before 8am thro til 8.45 pm every days for months....I've stopped answering my phone since I do 1471 and its 'them'!! so, I never answer my land line...stupid ge money never give up. get a life!

Well, maybe people have stopped complaining now because I notice the most recent entry is Feb 2009.

I had a missed call from this number, and tried to return the call, but message said it didnt accept incoming calls...What a con..

started getting calls from this number but no reply when answering,
i do have credit with ge but i have checked and im fully up to date.

That number is Santander Cards.

This company has nearly driven me to distraction! They telephone asking to speak to someone who does not live here. I have explained that this is my house, my telephone number and I DO NOT owe them any money!
This makes no difference at all, they just don't get it and still continue to hound me.
It is nothing short of harassment.
I will have this number blocked if it continues.

I answered, nobody spoke! I tried to call the number back, did not except incoming calls.

A big thank you to all the cretins at Santander who don't establish the facts before making peoples lives a misery several times a day (including weekends).

These call are to my work mobile so unless my company has a secret store card that is run up to the hilt with debt or non payment I cannot understand why they don't understand they are chasing the wrong people.

This number is a finance company chasing depts, I know cos I am going through an IVA so haave had loads and loads of calls, Halifax Bank was the best,they clocked up 10 in one day with 5 of then in the space of 2 hours alone when I got home from work, halliluja for answerphones,there's is the worst automated service cos it says your name in a foriegn robot tone,lol

Has anyone received a legitimate call from these people? If not, is there a governing authority that we can collectively file harrassement charges with?

This was a call from a bank called Santander on behalf of Debenhams credit card. It is totally automated, you're asked to identify yourself by confirming your name, keying in your DOB and the numbers from your postcode. Then they say why they're calling, in my case because my payment hadn't gone through and was late. You can then press 1, 2 or 3 to indicate if you 1 want to pay now, 2 are going to pay shortly, or 3 have already paid. That's all.

I received a call from this number, it's an automated service calling me regarding my Santander credit card. Had to confirm some security details before speaking to a person. Yeah it does not accept incoming calls.

Had repeated calls from this number and no talkin gwhen answered so we googled it and it bought us here

i have had 2 unsolicited calls today all rang and did not leave a message, 01133440001 was one of them, I did not call back as i am not wasting my money, i am also subscribed to the TPS.

Just had a call from this number, as usual nothing but silence, so I held the phone against my computor fan outlet and said nothing.
I know this IS GE Finance which is actually Santander Cards, formerly B&Q.
Unfortunately I have been ill and missed a payment and now I am receiving calls everyday from 08701242495, 08451262663 and today 01133440001.
Don't bother phoning these numbers instead contact Santander Cards UK Limited, PO Box 700, LS99 2BD or if you are brave enough you can try these contact numbers 0844 848 4719 and 0871 522 5757 they are open monday to friday 9am to 5pm so I think the 011 number is possibly a foriegn call centre, anyway the only way to deal with these calls is to write a strong letter to Santander qouting the law with reference to harrasment and your own rights.
