received a call @ approximately 10:25 this morning, on answering the line went dead, who the heck is it?

01142180488 calls on a regular basis, and added to the 'International' calls, I've had enough! Please stop it, and stop it right now.

I use an answer-phone now because I have had too many people ring me that I don'/t wish to talk to . If they don't give a message on the Answer-phone , after they hang up , I can ring the 1471 code , most of these callers withhold their number but this one : 01142180488 didn't withhold the number but as I don't ring anyone until after 6pm when the charges are lower , I wanted to find out who the caller was , all I can gather is that it is a Sheffield number . I have not rang the number back .

I AM A HOME WORKER FOR THIS COMPANY and I love ringing you and doing surveys. I live for it. I get paid £6 an hour to have people tell me to fcck off for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. The only reason we do this job is because we're stay at home mums, or have other reasons to work from home, i.e disabled. The only reason any of us do this underpaid wage slavery work is because we would rather earn money than sponge & claim doll. Think about that the next time we call.

P.S. if you are actually a decent person bare in mind the more YES answers you give to having a free leaflet sent or whatever the more points we earn and points mean pennies which are important to us struggling to exist

I respect that Kirsty, what annoys me is we went onto the TPS for a reason. When companies like this either don't bother to get the list or ignore it, it's bloody annoying!! I wasn't impolite - just said a quick no thank you - but I can understand why people who've opted out and had this wish totally ignored would be.

I agree with this, I also belong to TPS yet have just had a call from this number.  On answering the line went dead so now who is being impolite Kirsty?  It certainly wasn't me as I didn't have chance to say a word.  Please think about that when you make these calls!

We don't answer any call that is not in our phone book, we do not give at the door - even to charities, if we want you - we will phone you - now [***] OFF, be a phone sex worker - £18 an hour for someone to tell you he wants to cum all over your face - now that's much better!

I keep getting calls from this number at varying times of the day. Have told them number registered with TPS and these calls are unlawful. The chap said he wasn't aware of that. Told them not interested, but STILL they ring. Seems to be (at the moment anyway) that they ask if you/or your partner have received their mailing on government assistance for energy bills....no doubt solar panels. The other one is asking if you had a loan and did you take out PPI. God, if I had, I wouldn't use THEM to reclaim my money. I have told these people that if I wanted these services, I would contact a reputable company, which theirs clearly isn't. And STILL they call. Have also tried the deadly silence whilst they go through their spiel, or say I'll get my partner - but don't really, and let them rack up the phone bill... But STILL they ring. How do we stop them?!?!?!?

Had it a few times lately. You don't think it is someone trying to work out when my house is occipied and when it is empty.

This number has called us numerous times recently.  3 times in 2 hours today!!  My husband answered once but it is just an annoying recorded message!!  How the hell do we tell them to stop this nonsense?

i have been called from this no on 3 consecative days all around 4pm to 4.30pm and when you answer nobody is there its dead.
if you ring it back it rings unobtainable.

Unsolicited, hung up when I answered. Rather makes me wish I was Ex-directory.

Had a call from this number a couple of minutes ago.  After 4-3 rings, the caller hung up before I got to the phone.

Whilst I was out, I had a telephone call from this number yesterday (I rang 1471) and although I have an answer phone nobody left a message.  This is not the first time this has happened and because I did not recognise the number I did not respond.  I only hope something can be done about these pests.
