This number has been calling me for days, It doesn't leave a message, rings off usually before I get to the phone, if I do it is usually dead and I hang up quickly.

Hi everyone I work for national money savers. I'm not giving out my name for my "safety" lol

First let me tell you something on my screen your details are on it. Everything. First name last name and full address. There is a script on the screen we read off and there is five Buttons we press for the type of call.

@answer machine - Press this if it goes to a answer machine and you get a call back from the number in less than 15 mins.

@call back - if you people come up with sh@t excuses, "im just off out, oo taxi is here, i have visitors coming, oooo hang on some one is at the door  - Call back in 2 hours or less.  

@ do not call - press this if you say - remove me from database or dont call me again (angry voice) - name gets removed from database for 1 or 2 years. cant remember now.

@ not interested - this is used if you say not interested. we doo try to explain its not a sale call or anything like that its just a survey. if still no luck then we press that and you get a call back in the next week latest.

@ Business - we press this if we hear, hello "cxathys sallon" cathy speaking. something like that. i personally have rang hospitals and police stations and things like that. Now this is the best one. We press this one to remove it from the database forever. It plays a short message (ive never heard it) then removes you for good.

when any of these are pressed it dials a new number straight away and a new call

Now every thing with NMS is legit. We get your numbers from you. Where not physic. TPS we can ring you were not breaking the law and were not selling anything. You can report me or us to the police. Some woman asked me for my full name and the building i gave it and, no police man has come knocking and there is no bomb under my seat yet :D

You have to be 18 to do the survey we do confirm that with a simple im in my 50's or what ever.--
some questions are stupid like if you could save 500 on your bills would you?

if you have any points cards like boots for eg and you fill in the leaflet with your name thats how we get it.
or if you buy things online read the t&c you can stop it if you tick or un tick the box for third parties.  

say your a Business to get completely taken off the list for good.

if some people sound fishy it would either be there first week or day or they are nervous or got abused on another call and shaken up a bit.

These morons keep calling me and the number shows as 01142180488.  You'd think they's realise that nobody is home during what appears to be the same 2 hour window every day for the past 3 weeks.  I'm also ex-directory.  However, they're not getting your number from the BT exchange, they're getting it from 3rd parties you have purchased from in the past and who have requested your details to enable an account to be set up or a delivery to take place.  Our Governemnt are useless and can't prevent such data from being passed or sold on.  It makes me laugh, unless I can remember login codes and passwords, I can't get access to my own details due to Data Protection, but these companies willingly pass/sell it on.

It's about time the government did something about these bloody people. Nobody is allowed to hassle you this much to carry out their dubious 'business', if they stopped you in the street like this they would get a smack. Cowards hiding behind a phone system. They just rung off this time before I got there. I'm waiting for an important call from someone and don't want to have to keep rushing to the phone in case it's important, I'm a pensioner and am getting fed up with it. My mother-in-law is even older and housebound, I don't want her bothered by these calls either. Why doesn't TPS ever work ? It's useless. Cold calling shouldn't be allowed - give us a break ! Am going to have a go at my MP.

Keep getting calls from this number thankfully I don't answer and sure enough they never leave a message.  They are a nuisance

TPS works just fine, but if you have ever given your name and address details and contact number to any company you have open yourself up to these types of calls. When you buy a TV you gave your name and address and unless you specifically asked for your details not to be passed on (which most people forget when in a shop, it's easier to uncheck a box on line) then your details will be sold on to people like NMS.

It's not hard to understand. At some point in your life, either on line or in a shop, have given your details which can legally be sold to third parties if you didn't remember to request that they don't. So all you whingers saying "TPS blah blah, MP blah blah, Government moan moan" should just zip it and admit that at some point YOU gave out your details.

OK, I understand its annoying though when you are getting calls for a previous tennant, but just request a new phone number from your landlord! They can contact BT and get it changed.

We are meant to get 5 SURVEYS an hour i normally get 7 or 8. TBH i thought i would google NMS to see what people say and think.

TPS is a LOAD OF BULL and a con in my opinion. 80% of people i ring say im on the TPS.

I spent 3 years training to be an electrician in college. I cannot find an apprenticeship at all!

I have two part time jobs. NMS and behind a bar. I have worked for what i have. I have Never signed on and NEVER been a [***] hole, to anyone. i don't break the law. I work in the day and work at the night time of the weekend.

Just think next time you put the phone down on someone like me who isn't selling anything or wanting your money. Who you gave your details out too and "legally" wanted you to be contacted by us.

Having just read the semi-literate rant from the alleged employee of this nuisance company I can understand why he/she finds getting suitable employment difficult.

The point about signing up to the TPS (free) is that people who do it usually don't want ANY kind of nuisance call not just marketing calls.
The businesses which set up these "survey" call centres should realise this and save their staff time and effort by not wasting calls to people on the TPS database who are almost certainly not going to respond.

Just because someone can't spell properly doesn't stop them putting their point across.

Ignorant people like you, is what is so very wrong with this country.

I work for NMS as well and if you don't want calls like this, just don't  give your number out to any companies. It's not rocket science, it's as simple as that.

Call at 14:30 today from National Money Savers wanting to do a quick survey.  As we are TPS registered, and are very careful about to what we opt-in and from what we opt-out, his claim that we must have signed something to take part is an excuse.   Still, didn't withhold their number.

It is not that simple or rocket science.
A telephone number is often a mandatory part of the signing up process with internet suppliers.

It would be very useful to learn which companies are selling this information to NMS and similar nuisances. Can you help?

[***] rang again, didn't get to it in time: just as well. At least it costs me nothing, but they bloody woke me up. Had one the other week, and the guy was so cross I backchatted him he started shouting at me ! You effin this you effing that ...   all because I told him I was sick to death listening to his lies, I just put the phone on a table and walked away, said to him I don't care youre paying for the call not me. ha ha !

Just had a call from this lot. I've had so many calls of this type that when I answer the phone now I always wait for them to speak. When they do speak, not very often, you know what type of call it is and I hang up.

Call & wait for answerphone to kick in and then hang up. Receiving daily calls from them.
