- D| 1 replyI just received a letter from ce-services and it has a picture of my car. However the picture is of me driving out of the car park. This is evidence of nothing. The car park I was in had a maximum 2 hour stay in which I only stayed for an hour.

- Anon replies to netKFC were not open, but the large gate to their parking area was left open to invite you to drive in and receive their fine. Seems wrong - almost like a 'honey trap'. If the parking sign says 'absolutely no parking when store is closed', then shouldn't the gate be closed and locked as well to prevent people inadvertently parking there, if only to nip to do a nearby errand?
- gail replies to netDid you pay the fine.
- Anthony PagePaid £4.00 for 4 hours, received ticket on the 20/05/13, today received parking fine from Civil Enforcement Ltd, Horton House, Exchange Flags, Liverpool. I parked in the Co-op car park in Whirby and stayed 3 hrs and a few minutes.

- Sam| 1 replyHi
Paid for two hours parking in whitby coop carpark but only parked for 1 hour fifteen and recieved a fine. Do I need to pay? No longer have ticket as it was over a week ago and we were on holiday.
Confused! - Old Mother Riley replies to SamMy understanding of English law is that only a Court can impose a "fine". Everything else is simply a demand for payment.
If you are a member of a motoring organisation why not ask for their advice. If you were on holiday your passengers will no doubt be happy to support your statements. - john denham replies to J LAMARRADid u have to pay the fine though?
email me the outcome to johndscot@hotmail.com - RayHas anyone received a PCN @ Co-op car park, Dale st,Ossett,WF5 9DB.
- Caller: C E Ltd,Liverpool L2 3PF.
- The BearOnly Councils and the Police can issue a 'legal' parking endorsement or fine.
The firms mentioned above, including the outfit that controls the KFC at Sutton in Ashfield should be ignored.
If they send debt collectors to your home or try to clamp your Vehicle etc, call the police - they are breaking the law!- Call type: Debt collector

- Ben replies to Kim| 1 replyHey Kim, i have just received the same letter today (21/8/13) are you going to pay or just ignore it?
- angiI and my husband went to whitby on the 11/8/13. Paid for a ticket for 4 hours which was displayed on the dashboard clear to see. We left before the 4 hours. Today 22/8/13 i got a parking charge notice . Issued on the 20/8 to say i have to pay £90 or £45 within 14 days, payment not made in accordance with terms displayed on signage. I have contacted the police and told them i had a ticket and have read it is a scam. they saids it is a cival matter but they scare inercent people. i left the number 011582250520 a message stating i had a ticket and they would see if they do have cameras.
How do these people get away with frauding people. They should be named and shamed.
Is it a scam - JoePublic replies to BenFor God's sake don't pay it. You should appeal to them - which they will reject, but they are obliged to send you a POPLA code so you can appeal to POPLA. Have a look on the forums at pepipoo.com (private parking tickets and clamping) and post a thread asking for advice on how to win at POPLA.
You're welcome. - david roberts| 1 replyI received a parking fine for £45.00, from Civil Enforcement Ltd (ce-service) tel:01158225020 for supposed illegal parking in the Co-Op car park in Whitby, North Yorkshire on the 1/09/13. Now I know I paid for a ticket for the time of the offence and have witness's to prove it. Unfortunately I have since disposed of the ticket, as one would do. At the said car park, the procedure for obtaining your ticket is by typing your car registration into the computer and paying the required fee.
At the paying kiosk it also states that your parking ticket does notneed to be displayed in your car, which i did not. Having discovered this web site my question is, is this a scam and can I obtain information from the computer or machine where I bought my ticket- Caller: civil enforcement ltd
