Not quite sure how you came to the idea that anyone at this site could BAR a number.    The site function is explained at the top of the lead page.     Barring is something that only your service provider can arrange, or that you can do yourself through a call-blocker.

Just had a call from this number. Answered it but there's no one there. Missed calls like this are becoming a nuisance.

This number just left a voicemail and it was lookers telling me my car was nearly due it's MOT..

Yep..it is a call from Chris Cardell Media..nothing sinister , perhaps it is also used by others??

Didn't answer it, but they left a voicemail. Was from a recruitment company saying they had open days coming up for a medical devices firm. The number they said to call back on was different to the incoming number.

Keep getting calls from this number but when I ring back it says the number you have dialled has not been recognized etc ect.. What's the deal??

I got this number this morning, even though I am with Telephone Preference Service they still called.  I hung up when the voice said I had a message and to press any number to connect (heaven knows how much that would cost me) and as I have a caller blocking service on my phone they won't be ringing from that number again!  I advise anyone to do this with any nuisance call

If it is anything like the last scam that some how a company can charge you if they ring you, then I would want know who they are, but the fact that you just put the number in the system and up comes a load of disconsolate recipients of the number tells everything. Why does not the carrier of this information prevent it or be fined.

Why on earth are our landline and mobiles getting blitzed every night now again but UNKNOWN numbers?! We have two seriously sick parents and DONT NEED THIS! Some say it's lookers which if so they need to have a phone service recognising fact it's them.
However on calling back it says number not recognised which suggests bloody scammers (& NOT LOOKERS) AGAIN! Why why why when TPS registered & ex directory are we suddenly at worst times in our lives getting calls from these scum bags?!

I read recently that the Government is considering legislation to ban "unknown" or withheld numbers.     If I believed that or anything else the Government has to say I might think those guilty of the practice were trying to get use out of their equipment before then.  But that might be too simplistic.     Although such a ban would be an excellent idea.   I had one of our Banks (the kind that lost all their money and now use ours instead)  write to me and explain that they would be calling me using withheld numbers to discuss an issue of their own creation.    I wished them luck in getting past my call-blocker.

My mobile rang with this number, when I answered it, said a to call them back on this number, I hung up very suspicious
