This number rang me at 12.45am!! What is this all about ? What company rings at this time of night. Does any one know what the point of these calls are an how to stop them.

Answered call and got "you have a call waiting...press any key to continue" I hung up naturally

This is apparently Accent peerless repairs team re recent repair to your property, they are asking residents to supply answer to a short questionnaire regarding the repairs.

i always get a call from this number because all my children are always truanting from school. I have had enough and got my number changed on the school data base, this time gave them a false number..lol hehehe

Always early to mid evening I receive calls from 0118 904 9938 (it is Reading area code) and is some kind of scam.  I now have the calls "rejected" on my cellphone.  Just to advise other readers to be aware if you receive calls from this number.

I received 3 calls in quick succession from this number which all went to voicemail. The messages that were left all related to an order I had placed with M&S and that the collection/delivery date had changed. Obviously, I needed 3 calls/messages to let me know...

Had a call from this number, looks to be a car company which is a broker for car dealers, they are trying to sell you services.

Had a call last night from 0118-9049938.Dont give out my mobile number but had been at Essex Motors during the day who have my  number. Fortunately I missed he call.

I've just had a call from this number and I didn't answer it.
Disgusting that people can contact you anonymously like this hiding behind what looks like a legitimate number.

Received a call at 7.30pm  from this number to my mobile. Didn't answer it as it was coming from a number I didn't recognise. I checked out the number online and this call appears to be coming from a pest.

This was from www.chriscardell.com selling an online marketing course. Nothing sinister. It seems to be a number that's used by various companies for phone marketing. You can't call them back as it's an oubound number only.

Just missed a call from this number but they left a voicemail. It's an automated message from Lookers garage regarding a car service. Think it's like other people have said and a lot of different companies use this automated calling service.

Just had a call and when I answered it said "press any number to connect".. Didn't though..

DO NOT PRESS ANY KEY as this will connect your line to a high rate call number and will cost you money. JUST HANG UP

Don't have school aged children (any case it's a Sat morning), don't have a car (therefore no need of a service), have not recently used any service supplier, therefore why a stream of silent calls?

Received an answer machine call from this number. Automated message saying that I would receive a full refund in store when I called. All very useless as it did not say from which store I could expect a refund, neither did it indicate what I had "ordered" or even give me an order reference number. At the time we DID have an order placed with M&S so I called them and was told there was no problem with the goods or the expected delivery date.
Mysterious, time-wasting and annoying all rolled into one!

Just got called by this number and recorded message said I had a call waiting and to press any key to connect.  All very suspicious as don't have a call waiting service.  Hung up.
