automated call mentioning my grandchild who is only 10, totally unacceptable!!! where did they get his name from??

Automated press any key. Slime ball scammers. Reported to police. Hope they get caught very soon.

I had two calls yesterday. They were both an automated messages saiyng: They are calling from wessex water regarding the discoloration of the water we are experiencing. If we have any questions to go on their website and asking to press option 1 (to acknowledge) or option 2 to listen to the message again. I couldn't hang up, so I pressed option 1. Is this a scam?

Caller wrang when called back said I had a call waiting and to press any button to take call seemed odd so I deleted call

Had Wessex water in the area with their announcement van saying water would be cut off for emergency repairs. I missed the first call from this number, so checkedon here.
Then my phonerang. Again this time I answered & the automated message said my water had been restored but may have pressure &colouration issues for an hour or so. Seems like a legit service from my call

Had automated calls from this phone number claiming to be from wessex water.

Very suspicious about this number
