if you av bin a victim of voilence and u get a call frm 0121 evan tho u have made calls yourself about the same person and no action is being takean agaist them then y do they wont to keep ringin you frm 0121 it dont make sence to me

it is west midlands police. they use this as people do not answer blocked numbers.

i had a number of calls from this number. on reading these posts i answered one of the calls and it was infact west midlands police. i had a number of blocked missed calls before hand. rest assured it is the police. if you still do not want to answer call 101 ( none emergancy police number ) and ask for the officer who called you.

This number is definitely west midlands police but it doesn't take oncoming calls. I recently reported a crime and the police officer dealing calls my from this number.

it is in fact West midlands police ive had numerous calls from them on this number and the officer dealing with my case is the one who calls me from this number when he can not get hold of me on private number.  its outbound witch is why you can not phone it back but call the non emergency police number and they'll be able to connect you to the officer who called.

I had a call from this said he was a dc logan or lawrence.. we have an on going case and thought it was to do with that tried to call it back but a dead line ..

I can confirm this is a police number - the officer who called me was from Bournville station

Of course you could be leaving these messages to legitimise the whole police phone number scam!!  Please.people do not be FOOLED!!  Ask them for badge number, there division /branch the name of there superior. And his phone number!  Policeman come with warrants. They do not phone first and ask you your name

I got a call last Sunday from 0121265700 .. The guy on the other end of the number said he was with West Midlands police .. I tried to return the call but I could not even get a ringing tone .. I've contacted West Midlands police and reported what happened .. They informed me that it wasn't a number they use .. I've logged this activity to the police .

Some people are dumb. They dont understand what an outgoing number is. Despite the police owning the number, and infact the whole 70xx block of numbers, people still dont get it.

This is no scam, and you sharing it on facebook or just being ignorant and spreading lies means that this rumour gains traction. Call 101 and give them your details let them know someone from the police tried to call - and you will get somewhere.
