Someone keeps calling me from 012345678 and then they hang up

I have brothers in law who work for BT, this number is from abroad, the identifier (number on the caller display) is sent instead of International or other message for abroad callers. On various sites it claims to be a scanner and they are multi identity. If you get this number, just let it ring or go to message. DO NOT LIFT THE HANDSET (Answer) if you do they will ring you using other lines. Best left unanswered, we now call back numbers we only know. It has stopped a load of these calls.

Got a call this morning from an Indian sounding woman who said she was Jasmine calling from "BT Telecom" and that they would be disconnecting our broadband next week as it was unstable.  I disconnected her at this point.

chap said he was calling from BT regarding my internet connection. When I said he did not work for BT he hung up

Just noise at the other end, so hung up

4 calls today, about one an hour & it rings 19-20 times. Some silent & others with noises like call centre.

called at 6-40 am

012345678 rang today a few minutes after a scam TalkTalk call which I hung up on. I've barred the number, but expect a wave of pester calls now because I answered the first one.

Called every morning this week at 7.30am
Said I am not with talk talk and to stop phoneing then started to ask questions about who I was with
Told him to get lost never call again and I slammed the phone down

Had a call from this number this morning (012345678) The guy said he was calling from my bank's fraud squad....he was very convincing as he quoted my sort code and account number. The phone I was using didn't have caller display otherwise I would have been suspicious straight away. He told me someone was trying to withdraw a large sum of money from my account and he would stop it going through. He proceeded to draw me in for quite some time giving me reference numbers e.t.c, it wasn't until he asked me to turn on my laptop and log into my account that alarm bells started ringing. I told him I wasn't prepared to do that but he still tried to convince me he was genuine and kept talking so I put the phone down. I rang the bank with all the details, they said it was a scam and are investigating it. I consider myself reasonably intelligent but I came close to being scammed by these unknown people !!!!!!

I think this guy (or girl) is a hacker because the call you commented about and another person said they stole money from them.
If all of us here at this link get evidence this person will stop.(Hopefully)
