Keep calling trying sell gas and electric
Then start arguing and swearing . Very rude and would not tell which company they calling from .

call pretty much everyday, very rude. contacted provider to see if they could be blocked got told they cannot block international numbers....... sigh

They have just called my home phone telling me they have important information about my computer.  When I questioned them and said I wasn't happy about them calling the response was ' F*** you' this was about a minute into the call and I merely refused to give information.  Whoever these people are they need stopping.  I feel rattled from it and am aware of these horrible people who try to get information.  I just worry for older people who have to put up with this abuse and might not be so thick skinned. Please how can this be stopped? This call was from a male south African accent from number 012345678

The number is a fake, spoofed number which the cowards hide behind.   They could be anywhere in the world.     Only safe and certain way to stop getting such calls is to use a call-blocker.

My phone went at 0810 - no message left - we don't pick up as have caller display.   Tried to call back but nothing so don't know what they are after

Just had a call from this number on our land line. They claimed to be the "main server in the UK" and that it was regarding my Hotmail account, which they named. When I told them the name of our server (big mistake?), the operator, who appears to have a very short fuse, suddenly became extremely rude and he told me - unbelievably -  to "go away"! Hello? I thought it was they who were intruding and not the over way round!
Tried to call back, but got BT's "number cannot be recognised" message.
Would love to know who these people are. We are already registered with the Telephone Preferences service, but this doesn't appear to have any effect whatsoever.

If you work for the company that makes these calls, then please could you ask your operators to be less aggressive, and not to claim to be from phoney companies such as "the UK's main server" - or better still, to desist from making unsolicited calls at all. When I told him the actual name of our server, the operator became extremely abusive and told me to "go away". This is not the first time we've had calls from this number on our land line

Had two calls from this number on my house phone, when I answered got nothing, another scam no doubt.  If there calling people on mobiles must be getting customer lists off service providers.

Just had a call from 012345678, strange number, but when I answered just silence, I hate these people

I get a call from this number at *least* once a week, mostly 2-3 times. ALWAYS silent, then about 8 seconds later line goes dead. The number doesn't accept incoming calls either. I'm on Vodafone not O2 so no idea who it is! What do they gain from the 8 seconds silence, every damn time? Unfortunately, if I don;t answer someone else does but makes me very suspicious!

Had 2 calls from this number today on my home landline , within 10 minutes of each other. Didn't answer as it looked like a dodgy number, let the answering machine take them, but no message left. either time.
No-one in this house in on O2 and we all have PAYG mobiles

I've just had a call on my landline (caller ID phone) from this number. It showed up as a missed call, but I don't think it actually rang, as both my husband and myself were in the house at the time - I just saw the green light winking afterwards.

picked up call-they knew my name and asked me whats wrong with my computer???

Scammers called me said from SKY and my viewing card was about to run out asked me to please confirm my date of birth needless to say I hung up at this point (never call back or confirm any details about yourself as this is just what they want you to do) always check the phone numbers if its a number you don't recognise.

Not on 02 or any other contract mentioned here - didn't answer as I get constant spam calls as it is, just did 1471 and got that number. Not ringing them back.

Just got a call from this number on my landline (12.28pm 11.11.14).  They claimed to be from Windows service department - a likely story!  I think they're just trying to gain personal information and/or take control of your computer.  Also I didn't like their language - 'what the f*ck are you playing at?' - although I admit I was leading them on without giving any information away.  They knew my name.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!!

Ever since paying for a telephone preference company I have been inundated by calls from this number. There was no dialogue so I dont know who they are.
