I have had several calls from this number, please can you tell me who is calling

I've just had a call and a foreign gentleman tried to get me to click on my start button and go into a certain programme - when I questioned this he hung up. What a sod!!

just had a phone call from this number as soon as i picked up they hung up i phoned back but was just a tone

second call today from this number, first time just silence, second time a very indian sounding 'Eric' wanted to ask me questions to help launch new products. When I asked where he got our number from he just said ' public data base' I asked which, explaining we are on the TPS so number is not available - he promptly rang off!!

What is the point there's no one there. How do I stop this number calling???????????

Have recieved four calls up to now today 4.30pm is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

I've had 3 phonecalls this afternoon from 0123456789. Each time just silence. Its a bit unnerving. There must be a way to stop it.

I have had several silent calls from a number 0123456789. It is most annoying and I would like to know if there is any way of stopping them.

Ok i have had about 50 calls from this lot, finally one of them spoke to me rather than the phone going silent as normal when i pick up.....its a scam, they say they are calling as you may have downloaded errors on you computer and they are gonna help clean things up.....yep, i bet they are lol.
anyways, i was preparing dinner so decided to waste there time and see how long i could keep them going, and play along with their game.....20 minutes later i am on their website being asked to sign over control of my computer to a remote agent who will clean things out :) dinners almost ready....
I advised him to dig deep, find the hole where their heart should be, look for something like a conscience or perhaps a soul, quit his job, and go find something with more honour and stop trying to rob innocent people out of the £59 clean up charge. Line went dead....Wonder if they'll call back?

Answered a call tonight from this number. A man with foreign accent (Indian maybe) told me I had a problem with my computer and to switch it on so he could remote in and take a look! Not  on ur life!!! Told him no way but he kept on going on about checking my computer so I hung up. Some people don't understand that no means no. Any company wanting remote access to a computer without being asked to has to be suspect. DON'T DO IT!

Got two calls from 0123456789 within the last two hours.  When I picked up there was no one there, after waiting 5 seconds some automated message told me 'Please hang up'.  

How can I stop these phone calls?

just received 3 calls in succesion in last 15 minutes.  blew my whistle down the phone x 2 then thought - why not listen to garbage.  they said they were phoning from my local police station [ named it ] so thought i should phone the police and avise  - nothing they can do as not coming from uk.  have put it on call barring but really we should not have to do that as it does cost.  rant over x

Have had three calls from this number today.  Two of them, when I answered were just silent.  The third one I answered and got a woman telling me that the hard drive on my computer was being corrupted every time I surfed the internet and she said there had been several complaints of this in my area recently.She asked me if I was in front of the computer now. I told her I had no such problems and I was not interested and put the phone down. She was also very insistent on making sure that I was the account holder for the telephone number that she was ringing.  Not sure where this was going but I didn't intend to find out.
