Had a call from this number a few mins ago.  They rang off when I asked who they were - sounded like a scam, not a genuine call.

had a call from this number today, foreign sounding chap asked for my by previous married name - not used in 5 years so is using a very old list.  when i said i was busy he kept trying to get me to answer questions, in the end i left receiver on side and carried on with what i was doing - then looked on here,  he was polite and sounded almost desperate to get answers said he was selling nothing, and promised i would be entered in to a prize draw to win a holiday!  Hello I dont think so!

Received a call from this number today 12.40pm  (Asian voice) how tiresome this sort of thing is.  The usual speil  asking if my name was Mrs X.  I said yes who is it?   It is about your computer, (yawn yawn yawn).....I asked "how do you know I have one?"   He hesitated then said because of a signal they receive from somewhere. He was quite sharp wih me saying there was some sort of problem with it.   So I told him the truth -  that I was awaiting my Computer Engineer calling any minute and I am sure he could deal with any problem, then I hung up. How dare these people invade my privacy, what is the point of being TPS.  Well, I do know,  these foreigners have taken over our whole telephone network.
What next though?  e.g.  "You bought some knitting wool last week, and I am telling you that the wool has knots in it  ummmm? -  Or, the biscuits you bought at the supermarket yesterday are poisonous?"   Watch this space!!

i have had several of these call about problem with computer
i have put the phone down on them abused them but they still call
how can i stop this

just had another call and no one speaks,after 15 seconds they hang up ,whats it all about ?

TPS is powerless against these rogue telemarketers. I used to tell them  I was on TPS, but now I don't even waste my time saying that. I have caller display so I just pick up and immediately replace the receiver without listening to them.

Jus got another call frm these ppl. Had 1 on the 5th of this month. As b4 no one answered when I picked up. Wots the point?

I get several calls a day left on my messaging service as a TOTAL silence, not even a click. When I am away from home my maximum of 20 messages is soon used up.  When I am in and try to answer, it is the 01234567890 number.  How I wish I could block it.

I am disabled and it is real hard work getting to the phone if I am not right next to it.   My partner has cancer of the spine and we are out all day at the hospital for radiotherapy etc.   I really don't need any more stress :(

I couldn't received that call.

My phone just rang and when I answered, no one spoke. After 10 seconds they put the phone down. I do find it frustrating that people can waste other people's time like this. It is not the first time this happens, involving this number.  What is the con behind this number?

This number called my wife today and knew her by name stating that we have reported a broken PC and they would charge to repair, he sounded like he was a asian guy when challanged about how he got our name and number he hung up, definate spam

hi ther yes it is a scam dont do it dont ring back and dont do any thing they say on the phone, it has been on rip off britton, it cost somebody over £150 pounds which they paid the person on the phone with card and it messed ther pc up and when ther person got a reputable computer person in ther was nothing wrong with the compter so she was 150 quid donw, i have had 2 call today, and just found this site, do what my sister dos when she gets a call just say awww yes i work for micro soft and pretend to be a manager, and have the nasty little people on lol

This was Lufthansa customer service!!! Very surprised when I saw the number.......

This is a spoofed number by people too lazy to type in something original, thats why there are so many conflicting stories.

anyone who phones you from this number or another number that doesn't make sense ie 1111110000 999999999 or whatever has been spoofed.

Had a call from this number(again)whilst we were out today. I am surprised they keep calling as if I get someone at the other end of the phone I give them a free lesson on where to put their call centre! It almost always seems to be from an Indian call centre which seems to be the norm these days. I am getting absolutely fed up with this type of call and think it is about time our government took some sort of lead in outlawing them as the TPS appears powerless to intervene. The only alternative I feel is to have a phone which indicates the callers number (caller recognition) which I am in the process of purchasing.

Just had a call from them, they were asking for a Mr Wright who lives on a farm and they were asking about his tractor. Had the same woman phone me 3 days in a row asking me the same thing, each time i've said I'm not Mr Wright, I don't live on a farm, and I don't have a tractor, but she keeps calling me back.
