got the same thing just today, correct from the compliment slip with the address to the amount won , and number to call, with a expiry date, mines the01 12 08 with a ref number AFL 6345, curious i googled the phone number, brought me here, gottta be a scam aint it, !!

I got one 3o nov £750 gym time 4 free. I had my own, offered it to a friend, she went to take it up & was asked to pay £14.95 pm. whats free about that? I wonder if trading standards know about these foxtrot charlies?

Cambridge ,received my gift confirmation, my they are busy arnt they who actually falls for these scams since, i have seen comments going back to 2002 anyway received a recorded phone call (have only had the number 1 month) the night before was about consolidating debts unlikely to be just a coincidence LEECHES like this should be sought out and closed down maybe if everone who received this scam payed them a visit

seems ther'e at it again i received a slip this morning same prize amount same address but, different phone number, 0115 8320045, 16 jan 2009 ITS IN THE BIN.

Got 1 today (London) Survey UK same message  different phone number 02032920142 threw in the bin

2 slips white and blue same message identical no change, telephone number changed to 02032920142

Got a letter through the post today with local phone number 01925 950030. Thought it might be a scam so checked online before putting letter compliments slip from Survey UK, and blue "Congratulations" you've won a prize donated by a local business voucher through the shredder.

Got one here today. Phone number is 01618 580030, and all the same other guff on it.

Manchester phone numbers go 0161 xxx xxxx so god knows why they're munging the numbers together. I hope they get a terminal illness.

If you google the post code and Victoria up pops many many companies, which sugests if it's legal it's either a rabbit warren of one room offices or used by a parent company with many many sub companies "for trading purposes". It could also be a (possibly illegal) mail drop facility.

Any way one of the companies there is "AMC Fitness Ltd" a sales and marketing company and another is a bulk mail company for "leasure activities".

So possibly not quite an "illegal" scam just a new variation on a very questionable marketing technique.

Oh the one that dropped through my door was "bulk mailed" via the Royal mail so you might want to complain to them as well.

Oh and if you get one examine it carefully you will find that the gift confirmation number may well have been writen by hand (you can feel the impression of the writing on the other side of the paper). However on the other side in red is another "hand written" looking number but no impression in the paper ;)

Yes, we had same today 30/03/09, saying the same as all of the other people. Adressed to Mr/Mrs from Survey UK. Like them I got on the internet to check the company out & was pleased to find that l wasn't the only person who thought it was too good to be true. So in the recycle bin it goes!! My phone number to call however was slightly different...01925(Warrington code)950030.

Got one today, addressed to Mr / Mrs, that was all.
With Compliments it says on the slip. bunch of arße, going in the bin!

Got a "Congratulations" compliments slip, checked out survey UK online, and Matters consulting Ltd, brought me here, and to another site that exposes these bloodsucking societal lepers.

I for one am reporting them to the A.S.A and suggest you all do the same.

my daughter received a letter from survey u.k.recently to telephone 01925 950030. she asked me to ring for her. googled the number and found all your comments(informative and entertaining)... offering £32500 and all that has been mentioned by fellow scam'ees. i was reading the letter while in the bathroom ... i got so excited when i saw the possible prize money that she could have won that i tripped over my undies, fell onto the bog handle and flushed the winning paperwork round the u bend. she'll be devestated that daddy has lost her a life changing amount of cash. i'll make it up to her ... £1 lucky dip off mr camelot this wednesday. GOOD LUCK people. i'm sure the next wave of nonesense is being prepared for despatch as we speak. BIN IT.

seems they are allowed to get away with it,well mine is not going in the bin..I am contacting trading standards ,its about time someone instead of just moaning about it,does something about it.come on everyone...contact your local trading standards ..lets get rid of these parasites.
