It's another clever way of scam. I received one by post and when I rang them they asked for for my name which I was not happy to give and i asked if they could tell me what is all about?
They said that they can't before me giving them the name which I refused.

got one today, gift local company exceed £32,500 expires 13 Jul - not calling, its gone in my gift of a BIN!  I'll put their number out anywhere and everywhere now.  See how they like it!!

got one too now ... no. to call is 0203 292 0142. maybe we should call them, give them non existent name, non existent id, non existent everything ... just waste their time for a bit ...

new number in Lancashire they are using on 20th july 2009 01942470034 local call rate, i stupidly rang an was told my offer had expired, total con. Grrr.

Same as above but was told I have 12 months free gym membership?  Not seen this as a scam so far???  Are you all sure it is and what happens usually then??

Have received regular calls from this number. No message is left. Just a bit annoying isnt it.

I got mine today expiring on 13/08/09, but the company is "Universal Consulting Ltd" but registered at the same address as "Matters Consulting Ltd".I normally don't believe in free lunch and I never play lottery as I think the best way to win at a lottery EVERYTIME is to keep the £2 in your pocket...
It looks like a survey, with hand writing, etc..I did call but it was immediately re-directed to a mobile phone voice mail.

I received the two slips from National Surveys yesterday. Local number to call is 01304 340023 (Dover). We did call as we had entered a local raffle a couple of weeks back, but luckily, it was after 6pm and the line wasn't manned. Looks as though many of you have complained about this in the past, but are any of the authorities looking into it?!
I'm sure the presence of the local number fools many many people into calling.

Me too, via letter - Universal Consultants based in Cheltenham with a Southampton number - 02380 070113. One of £12,400 of free gifts! Received this morning (Sat 5th Sept).

I got one as well today addressed to Mr/Mrs.... and a Leeds phone number of 0113 3350294 from the same company.  Looked on this site first, as I thought yeah right, gotta be a scam, and I'm allergic to exercise so no gym membership wanted here anyway!

Well I must be the lucky one just received 5 of these as I am fortunate to own 5 houses in a row..lol got a separate letter to each house .

If you to are unlucky enough to get one of these …d the right thing and just BIN it straight away without a moment’s thought.
And as for the scumbags at universal consulting Ltd you need to get a proper job and stop trying to take the hard earned cash from peoples pockets

The idiots think by making the number look like its a local one we will call.

There should be an immidiate crack down by the police on this address you would think, but my guess its probably legal somehow thats how stupid our country is becoming/has become.
Does anyone live near their address they can check them out or report them to the local police so we can have answers.

i rang them the lady denied any involment with the company and knowledge but got irate and defensive when i mentioned it was a scam linked to the that address. To me someone should at first sound worried and concerned not jump on the "it could be the tennants down stairs" attitude followed by the phone being put down.

I say we should all continue to call this number and if its not the same company then im sure they will complain to the landlord and have them kicked out.

I was sent a card with a number on & complimentary slip from company calling themselves universal consulting ltd t/a national surveys from post code GL51 8LN telling me to call a leeds no 0113 350294 telling me that i had one a prize exceeding £12,000. seems its the same sort of scam everyone else on this site is warning about.typical scam not giving you any information about your so called prize without wanting all your personal details.....
