Same as Angie above - I received a missed call from this number around 14.31 - was going to call them back as i'm in the process of moving homes so have been using my mobile with builders etc.  Definitely won't be returning their call.

Yeah I just received a call from a girl, from this number, which was totally out of the blue, as I did not understand what she was discussing with me as reception was not full strength, also claiming I was owed £59.99 for overpaid protection, I asked her for what? My phone? To which there was no straight answer. So I told her to send me some written information in the post. Absolutelty dodgy, with a capital D.

Just had the call at 5:42pm but missed it thanks for the warning.. also on orange.

Received call today about refunding PPI payments, which I have apparently overpaid for the last 12 years! Asked me to confirm my home address so that they could send me the "reclaim pack", when I said that i didnt give that sort of info out over the phone...they hung up!  This needs reporting to the police!

snap. i called back first and got v dodgy reception (out of blue - as thought they do not want you to hear some parts); they offered reimbursement for PP for it being overpayed - despite me not saying who it was and on a diff phone and then discovered this page.... thankfully. Why haven't police intervened?

same here!! called police gave them details who knows what will happen would have thought they could do some thing??? typical police!!

I have called this morning to replace my cracked windscreen, guess what I received a call after two hours from 01253750929 and said they were calling on behalf of my insurance company and they said I'd payed too much on my windscreen excess and needed to refund it.
I have asked them to call me back as I was busy at that time.

No phone call after that.

I'm a psychic. And I speak to spirits. I received a call from this number 01253750929, she started talking my spirits said scam I hung up. My spirit guides told me to google this num and here I am.
She is approx 35-42 years old, she runs a bogus company with her partner, the law is on their side. They work and live somewhere north east/west midlands. The bogus comp. Has websites,my guides say look for plumbing/kitchen/bathroom/water/air ventilation services. This is all I know and am being told,i don't have a computer nor the time to investigate but I hope my info helps you folks and to anyone willing 2 investigate. Peace.

I got htis as a missed call, i called it back without knowing the above, got a long answering machine palying music, no one picked up so I googled it as I didnt know the number. Now Im just gonna call my network operator to block the number.

called asking for bank details, said I was due an insurace refund, due to call back when i said I had no bank details on me.  Background noises suggested a call centre

As they have failed to refund my money after posting a letter via registered post on the 20.01.09 i will be now sending another letter asking for a copy of the transcript which by law im entitled too.
I will get my money back even if it means personally paying these [***] a visit!!!

im on t mobile and only got my number last october 2009 they asked me 4 my creditcard 2 pay me back i sed i dont have 1 and they asked me 2 borrow sum1 elses i knew it was a trick coz i dont pay insurance to any1 or had any loans lol i aint that dumb lol iv seen too many fonejacker episodes to fall 4 stupid tricks

Hi just rec'd a missed call. Phoned back and was told I was misold PPI and due a refund although not told how much. All sounded very genuine and stupidy fell for it-not normally that gullible- but on reflection my gut instinct told me to call back and challenge them.  Spoke to Nicola on first call and Katie on second-both sounded the same!!!  She didn't get flusted at me challenging her so they've obviously got their scripts off to perfection.  Called my bank and had card stopped before anything taken out.  Also called OFT to report.  Watch out guys!!

Yes it as just happen to me .... Please be carefull when talking to anyone on the phone.... people like this should and must be stopped.

I returned a missed call today (8th Feb) and was told much the same story about a refund. Became suspicious straight away because my wife deals with all financial matters and I refused to give them my credit card details over the phone.

I will be contacting the police and the FSA.

01253 750929 just called my mobile then didnt speak, when i called back to check it there was a pre-recoreder message saying hold the line someone will be with you shortly, i prompyly hung up. Scamming pikeys!!! they then get all the cash for you calling them!
