- T Norman replies to Ha Ha| 1 replyI contacted HRMC @VAT fraud on all Adam Bennett's companies: AIMS International / AIMS REVIEW / AIMS RECLAIM / AIMS Legal & addresses of Blackburn & Marbella. Feel that I have done my bit for the time being.
- C Swain replies to T NormanInteresting, as when I paid AIMS they charged me VAT on the invoice. Hell I am now very pissed off, as I doubt the company is declaring their VAT.
- Liz| 7 repliesI am at the moment trying to get my £250 back from Aims but after reading the messages here realise that, for all of their promises, it looks like I will have a long wait! They assured me I was due my money returned after they did not secure any PPI returns for me. That was agreed in May, and I have constantly rung to be told it is with their finance dept. have issued a complaint but obviously that too seems fruitless. Who should I contact next? Police? Any advise would be helpful, thanks. Ps the credit card I used is no longer in operation and so I cannot even ask the bank for help!

- R McGinty replies to Liz| 4 repliesI would send a letter to : Chris Woods | Senior Claims Management Officer | Claims Management Regulation Unit
57-60 High Street | Burton on Trent | Staffordshire | DE14 1JS | 01283 233311 | c.woods@claimsregulation.gov.uk
And report AIMS to the Ministry of Justice. - Liz replies to R McGinty| 1 replyThank you,I will do that. Little [***] aren't they?!
- R McGinty replies to LizI agree & don't give up, report them to the MOJ & FOS. Your T&C's state a refund. Therefore, pursue it as AIMS have breached their contract. Go girl and make a difference.
- jackiemy mum is 83 years old and suffers from alzheimers dementia, this company AIMS REVIEW took a card payment from her over the phone, she lives on state pension in a council bungalow, there is no way any of the products they offer would have been suitable for her. I have rang them every week to find out where her refund is, they state its with their finance department, I have wrote in a complaint without any acknowledgement. This company are SCUM.

- jackie replies to R McGinty| 1 replyThanks for your reply to Liz, I'm going to do the same on behalf of my mum.
- R McGinty replies to jackieGood stuff. The more they are reported the faster they get seriously investigated & sentenced for their fraudulent activities.

- leigh wheeler replies to Nan| 7 repliesOhh there getting reported alright i just want a number to call insted of sending letters to there address telling them what i think who do i report them to....i wish they had an office you could see them at face to face because id make sure they got a face full of me and more >:-(
- leigh wheeler replies to R McGintyHello i have see that you have got a good result from reporting AIMS.....how did you go about it and who did you report them to? Please help.
- Ha Ha replies to leigh wheeler| 6 repliesThey do have a UK office at 7 Trident Park Trident Way Blackburn BB1 3NU
- Nan replies to Ha Ha| 5 repliesDo you know if that office really exists, or is it virtual. All the so-called "Agents" who have posted on here have been based in Spain. Ages ago, when I typed AIMS Review into Google, the only place it appeared was on a webpage advertising businesses in Belfast!!! Even then, it only had someone's name and the Blackburn telephone number.
- Nan replies to Nan| 4 repliesI think Leigh should check out Google Maps before trying to visit AIMS. I have just had a look and their office appears to be in the middle of a road junction between two Bowkers car garages! I have checked out the surrounding buildings and they are all occupied by different businesses. Have a look and see if you come up with something different.
- Ha Ha replies to Nan| 2 repliesI assure you it is there it's where they run AIMS Legal AIMS Reclaim AIMS Finance and Liverbird Collections from right next to the Bowkers Mini Sales room.
- Nan replies to Ha HaWell, if you are right, Leigh can go and have a look. There is a building with no name on to the left of Bowkers, but it looks empty. I am sure someone from Bowkers will tell him which door to knock on.
- rosyMy husband has recently been conned by these people who have no morals whatsoever, he has dementia and didnt even know what the telephone call was about but they managed to get his card details off him and take £299.00. I didnt event know what he had done until I received 3 e mails off them 2 hours later and rang immediately to cancel we have never had any PPI insurance so it didnt apply to us. Needless to say we have not had a refund but I have reported them to Trading Standards, MOJ and local MP and Parliament for the unethical practices. What goes round comes round and I hope they like porridge.

- Lulubell| 2 repliesI really wish that I had seen this sight before!! I agreed to pay the fee over 4 months of £75 and handed over my card details for the 1st payment to leave my account. I then had a change of mind and rang yesterday to cancel (just a handful of days after the 7 day cancellation period). AIMS have refused to re-credit me £75 (even though I have not signed the forms or given them any Mortgage details for them to start work on).
I rang my bank to cancel my card, but was told that even if I do that, AIMS can still take future payments!! My bank has noted all details and will, hopefully, be able to stop future payments.
I cannot believe I fell for this scam!!- Caller: AIMS review
