i have had calls off these people with false information about my contract and now off another number 01792761030. they are a pain and keep calling.

I have had 7 calls from these lowlife in 3 days, i dont answer the calls as i dont know the number, I dont even have a contract on my mobile, i am with 02 on the simplicity tarrif, i just pay £20.00 a month, get unlimited phone calls and 1200 texts. and can cancel it at anytime, so i would not change anyway. I am sick to death of what companies can get away with now, but just remember your local councils sell your info to these sort of people. and they are allowed to without even asking for your permision. what a wonderful country we live in.

This company's sounds very dodgy, they wouldn't tell me how they got my mobile number and hung up which is funny when I never give it to anyone.

Save you money, don't trust this company. Report to trading standards and Ofcom.

Very rude man asking about my phone contract, i told him im not interested and he said if i called today offering you cheaper car insurance would you say no! what has car insurance got to do with phone contracts?!?

Same as everyone else here... I've been called 3 times now and every time the conversation starts the same, asking about my contract ending, me telling them I'm not on a contract, them persisting, then me saying not interested and putting the phone down.

Don't deal with these jokers, if they keep ringing I'm going to contact OfCom.

I too keep getting missed calls from this one-amongst others. Defo Carphone warehouse selling the numbers and they're hounding me cos according to the list i didn't sign up for a new contract at the end of my 12mths in nov-i did but went direct to O2! rang them from a with-held landline and asked why they were calling-the girl confirmed this and promised she had taken my name and fone no off their list-yet i hadn't given it to her and hadn't called from my own mobile or landline so there's no way she could get it-pointed this out and she was stuck for words then asked me to give her my name and no. 'be honest' i said 'you can't stop this can you?'she admitted as much but still asked for my name and no after a bit of stuttering. Of course i said no way and hung up. Am really annoyed as it's a business  fone and i always answer or return the call. A word of warning to anyone signing up with these kind of companies-i once did was delivered a faulty fone, so returned it by special delivery. they then said they didn't receive it and continued to take the payments from my bank. after tracking it couldn't claim for the loss of the fone from royal mail as was signed for-they were in a huge building with lots of other companies so couldn't prove who by. They then disappeared of the face of the earth and i was left locked into a contract with no come-back. Would now only sign up either thru an official phone co shop or direct with the co. The Carphone warehouse is off my list now too.

am yet to answer the call as I checked on here the first time they rang. very annoying as they have tried 3 times to contact me today.

Recieved a call from this lot on Friday last week.  Politely told the guy that I do not own the contract and that whoever did was not available.  Since then I have been recieving 3-5 calls a day from them.  All have gone unanswered, of course, and I have now signed up on TPS.  What they are doing is harrassment and hopefully some kind of authority will get involved and stop them from conducting this kind of business in future.

the person i spoke to told me that the company dont even pay the callers commision! instead if you buy a phone at the end they tell you theres a £9.99 admin fee (which is what they get per sale apparently). funny they dont mention that earlier...

Im in canada, so all of theses irritating called are made even more irritating by the fact that the calls are coming at about 4.30am i've been here for 7 weeks and will be returning in 4 and they have been calling on a nightly basis for the passed week. they say that my 02 contract is about to expire and if i wanted a new phone etc. i've told them that i have a year left on my contract but they still call back. ive had a similar situation with the phone insurance company that i had when i first took out the contract and i'm pretty sure is something to do with phones for you as the phone was brand new and i hadn't given my number out yet. any of you guys get your 02 contracts through phones for you?

Another missed call. Even more annoying as I went into Carphone Warehouse a few days ago and renewed my o2 contract, so I have no idea why they are still calling me. Such timewasters

I didn't get my phone from Carphone Warehouse, I got it straight from o2 over a year ago. They have been phoning me everyday this week but I have not answered as have been at work. Would never give my info out to anyone over the phone or agree to anything!! What jokers.

Why are people moaning about being tied into a contract with these people and have to pay 2 bills - dont you know a 2 second call to your bank can stop the direct debit to these guys  ! ! ! If I have any disputes with companies to which I have direct debits I cancel the DD until the situation is resolved - when they know they wont get money they arent long in resolving it. This company not being legit cant do much about you cancelling your DD to them. Simples.

I've read the first page of this lot. Really helped me. I haven't answered any calls from this number but I know not to. I have 1 or 2 missed calls a day from them.
Really annoying though, fed up of them waking me up. I work nights!!!

I just had a missed call from this number. Glad i never answered now! i hate these companies!!!

Just had the third phone call from these people - they are convinced my contract is up soon, which it isn't, and asked me for bank details to confirm my identity before they would tell me who they were or what they wanted. I hung up on them and blocked the number.

These people are driving me insane - have been getting on average 3-4 calls a day for 2 weeks now with the occasional answer phone message..always whilst i'm at work so I can't tell them to stop calling - arghhh! Seem like a very dodgy company to me!

worked for this company for 7 months, they are a very good company, they look after there staff and dont put too much pressure on them to get sales in, all these comments from these people on here are not true, they call you according to their data which tells them your contract is in the last 3 months, sometimes they get it wrong but its not there faukt. if your looking for a good company who you can trust then free fones are the one. i personally have three contract mobile phones with them and never had 1 problem

They call and hang up when I answer although the background noise is that of a call centre so I'm going to steer clear.
