I started getting calls from this number yesterday but as I didn't know who it was I didn't answer.  I'm glad I didn't from what all the posts have said.

Again, my phone was from Carphone Warehouse ..... starting to sound as if they are to blame for this dodgy company harrassing people!

i too got my phone through carphone warehouse - 2 months left on an 18 month contract.
i never answer calls where i don't recognise the number, then always type them into google.
they have been calling 2 or 3 times a day for the last 2 weeks - i will continue to ignore them!

Just called 02 and they advised me they did not sell my details, but all contract details have been published for anyone to see.....and they don't know why they are published......!!!!!

Its impossible to get a refund off these jokers. they'll double bill you despite stating they'l pay off your contract. once they get your bank details theres nothing you can do. i wish i shopped around instead of believing their lies. now im stuck with a 'brand new' handset from 2006 and a tariff where i fail to see the value. stick to the big companies-they offer value, trust AND a better phone.

They Phoned my boyfriend who works nights so often sleeps of a day 7 times on the run one day and about another 10 times over the a week and had the precise date of his o2 contract expirary date. I believe some one from o2 is ilegally giving peoples information out.

i've been getting 2-3 calls a day every single day since the 26th jan from this number even though i keep cancelling the call. my contact is due to end next month. i don't think it's a carphone warehouse thing because i got my contract directly from o2.

They started calling me a few weeks back and now I get a call more or less every other day. Obviously I don't bother answering and it is painfully annoying, especially if you are at work.

BUT, I decided to get even with these pikey losers.

SO, using their email address, geographical address and geographical telephone number, I have signed them up to EVERY goddamn PORN site, FREEBIE marketing site and god knows what else I can find to give them a taste of their own medicine!

So hopefully their email inbox will get flooded with utter sh!te, their post box will eventually require a forklift to empty and they will also be receiving calls THEMSELVES, with people trying to sell them [***] they don't even need, using a number they never gave anyone permission to use! It's so ironic it hurts!

I would urge everyone to do the same - sign them up to every goddamn dodgy site and free subscription service you can find and I can guarantee, they WILL go bust if their phone line and email is being jammed with complete junk!!!

Try and find the "win a free ipod", etc websites - as the sign up process usually requires you to enter a geographical telephone number! If their number is plastered around enough, NONE of us will be receiving calls as they'll be too busy trying to fend off "cheaper" offers for dual-fuel and great deals on double glazing! Hilarious! I can only imagine the stupor of those welsh morons once the calls start coming thick and thin!

Just pick up their steaming bullsh!t and throw it right back at them!

Oh and last night, just before hitting the sack, I spent a good half an hour signing them up to a load of company mailing lists.

So they'll be receiving around 50-70 catalogues over the next week - from HSS hire to Butlins to Muslim Weekly - on top of a load of newsletters direct to their email address!

I'm laughing every time they call now!

These people call me constantly and dont ever give up.

Todays one again said they were from the Carphone warehouse, when challenged previously about how they had my number as I have never done business with the Carphone Warehouse they told me they got my details from Orange.

They always ask to confirm details about yourself to them...Don't....tell them that if they are ringing you and have your details then they should know, most of the time they go away after that as they can't proceed with the call without you telling them your DOB or address etc.

For the past couple of weeks I've been getting several calls daily from this number. They're rude and obnoxious, and clearly have no idea about my current mobile phone contract. I don't want to give them any personal information, and have started hanging up, but the calls keep coming.

I got this number today but didnt answer this is the second one i have got today, they are scams about mobile phones saying they want to upgrade your phone DONT DO IT they say they are legit companies working on behalf of 02 and t mobile etc, they dont

Got a call from this number today didn't answer as have had a few dodgy numbers phone recently, look up on internet to find out they are trying to scam us. Don't give them any details. These people are a pain in the back side.

This company seem 100%. Got a cracking deal from them, cusomer service are right on it.........hope this 18 mnts goes as well as the first one.

this number keeps ringing me. i asked to be taken off but still it rings. to be fair i spoke to someone very polite last week who didnt push me and i was prepared to listen to him. the contracts they offer though are very poor, presumably due to the managers getting a cut off each one and an upgraded car.

Hey, thanks for all the posts. Just read through them now as I keep getting calls from this number! Funny thing is, I spoke to O2 last week to sort a new deal out, baring in mind I've still got 3 months left on the contract. But I'll be expecting another call from these rude people this afternoon. Thinking backI think it was these that called me 2 years ago offering a free phone etc (which was a right crap mobile anyways ha ha ha) but I got a bit freaked out when they asked for my credit card details! Who is actually dumb enough to do that??

Had the same about them knowing my contract was nearly up and saying they are working on behalf of 02 and t mobile,they offered me free texts and 200 minutes i refused and the woman kept repeating the company was legit,  i contacted  02 and the told me THEY ARE NOT. Also not to give any details out, they are working off a few other numbers aswell.

They ring me every day! i never bother answering because ive had calls like this before from a swansea area code, and just think there con-artists. next time i think ill answer and tell 'em where to go!

Like most other people i was called none stop then have to admit i was tricked into taking on a contract.  I still had time to run onmy current O2 contract and they were aware of this, however I was told that they would cover the cost of the existing contract, once I got my PAC number changed.

They also passed mybank details over to Fonesure

They started taking money out straight away and I am NOW PAYING 2 BILLS, that they said would not happen.

I have spoken to a guy called Rob, who WILL NOT put you through to the Customer Services Manager.  I was in touch with Traiding Standards, although they contacted the Manger, they couldn,t do a great deal.

It is now up to me to speak to Nick Hill, Customer Srvices Manger Direct.  I contacted him this morning at 10.10 a.m. - and I got Rob GAIN, who again had to be polittely told to mind his business and put me onto the Manager.  I was told he would call me back in half and hour, the time is now 12.15p.m. STILL NO CALL BACK.
