Report a phone call from 01267226750 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- MAs i have had a few missed calls from this no 01267226750, i answered it today. Now it appeared that they told lies to me by saying my O2 contract is due to end in 35 days and calling for renewal. Obviously it was wrong, when i questioned her she said all my details are on her screen. Then I asked her if i am anything to do with her or her company is anything to do with me. She had no answer and turned to be rude. I find it that is a HOAX call, shouldn't give any of your details unless you are 100% confident.

- Angry of Essex:-) Was getting 10 missed calls a day from these herberts.. they are a persistent bunch, you have to give them that!! I work in telesales and my company was soon go bust if we worked like this bunch do! How rude and juvenile their sales staff are.. hanging up if I say - politely - no thanks - then ringing back an hour later! I have even LIED to them and said my O2 contract expires in another year and they STILL kept on ringing after that!!!! And.. today... they have called my home number (I am on TPS too!!!!!) - where the HELL did they get my details from? I should know that, working in a call centre.. but.. we would not dare apply their tactics.. There.. rant over.. lol
- KarenIve so far had 18 calls! Every time they ring they are snotty arogant and down right rude, even had one person call me dense because he said he was from o2, so I asked him to phone the other number they had on file, the answer I got was "Im not in that office are you so dense you cant see a bargain" So I said yes I better go chase some cornflakes, my local trading standards office will be taking action after I have recorded a few calls now.

- Chris GreenI've had four missed calls from these Herberts, so on the strength of all that's gone before, I've added them to my Blocked list. Come to think of it, someone purporting to be O2 rang me after 10 months telling me that they understood my contract was due to expire, (which it wasn't as it had another 8 months to run at that point) - probably them again by the sound of it.
- EmI am on the TPS list, and have told them several times that I am not interested & asked to be removed from their database, yet I am still getting hang-up calls from this number several times a day! AAAAGH!!!!! I'm sorry, but after their behavior, THEY could offer to pay ME to use their services & I would still decline!

- CthragYaskaHad several calls from this number , usually ignore unrecognised numbers on my mobile but eventually I answered. The guy I spoke to told me he was calling "on behalf of 02" and that my O2 contract was due for renewal and did I want a new phone. So I pointed out my O2 contract actually finished in January and I was well into an 18 month contract with another provider now, and said "you're not actually with O2 are you or you'd know that" to which he said they were a "partner company".
I then pointed out my number is registered with TPS and that they were breaking Offcom's rules by calling me, and the guy hung up immediately.
Seems some of their staff are more unscrupulous than others when it comes to acquiring the sale...
The main reason I left O2 was because I started getting a helluva lot of cold calls soon after taking out the contract with them, seems O2 think it's ok to sell our numbers on to anyone!- Caller: Free Fones Select
- MBI'm often reluctant to answer an unknown number these days and I'm glad I missed this one.
Two tips;
1) Don't tell them when your contract is due to expire. In trying to be polite and correcting their statement that you're contract is due for renewal, a lot of you are telling them when your renewal actually is!
2) Put the number in your phone so you know it's them calling and stop answering, that's the only way they'll ever stop ringing.- Caller: Free Fones Select
- Charles O'DonnellThey keep trying to get hold of me, but I simply do not answer calls from unrecognised numbers. Thanks for the tip on the TPS. It is also quite obvious that there are a number of posts from 'stooges' on here, including the first one. Beware folks.
- ChrisI have just received a call from this number - not the first one either. He knew that my O2 contract is due to expire and said he was ringing to re-new my contract for me. I asked if he was from O2 and he said no, he was from Free Phones Select so I told him that I was happy with the contract I already have and would be staying with O2. He was ok about it but no doubt I will get more calls from them.
- EmI have just had a call from that number so I thought I'd have look to see who it was. Over the past few moths I've had nothing but phone calls from Phones4u (but not phones for you!) and Free phone select.
I've told them soooo many times that I'm not interested but they still keep calling. One of the times they asked me what phone I was looking to get. I told them the new sony C902, then the guy on the other end of the phone said that they were not out yet! I told him that he was wrong as I was having a go on one on the sat that they came out. He asked which phone shop I'd been in and I told him that it was in Three. He told me I was making it up and started talking over me. This carried on for a few minutes, I think he was trying to go on to the Three website as then he changed is attitude and told me that he had made a mistake and that they had come out and WERE on Three!!!
I told him that it didn't matter what deal he was offering, that I'm going back to Three and having the C902!
He hung up.... not even a goodbye!
One thing I have noticed is that I have only ever had this problem since I moved to O2 and after reading this thread I seem to be seeing O2 mentioned more and more! I have been with Orange, T-Mobile and Three in the past and have held a contract phone for 8 years. Yet never had any of these problems. Maybe its O2 doing the dirty on their customers or maybe Phones4U where I got my phone from!
If I want something, be it a phone etc I WILL LOOK FOR IT!!! I can't be doing with people calling me trying to push things onto me!! You never know now if these people are who they say they are!!
x - RichJust had a call from this number. Some polite sound guying telling me that my O2 contract was up for renewal (which it isn't). He had the cheek to ask when it would be up for renewal but I wouldn't tell him. I have been getting regular calls from similar companies, annoying but tolerable.
My advice, try and be firm but polite with your refusal. Additionally, try not to give them any additional information (like the above poster also noted) by giving them your actual renewal date. - LukeSomething like this happened to a family member before
they rip you off saying that they will finish your other contract, but infact they dont, and then give you a better offer.
I personally think its carphone warehouse that give out your number to people.
Ah well, i've only had it done to me once, lets see what else happens! - johny b good| 1 replythay call your mobil then hang up you ring back it cost you 5 pounds.there just a bunch of con men.IF YOU READ THIS GO AND HANG YOUR SELFS
- ChrisI've had about 5 missed calls from this number but as yet have not answered it. Dont think I will either. With regards to Luke's post....I got my phone direct from O2 website so it must be them giving out our information rather than the high street vendors.
- Robthese people are DOING my head in. STOP calling me or I'll call the police. If I want a new phone then I'll buy one from where ever I choose. They are Soooo desperate for sales.
- KELLYhad 4 calls from them in the space of 2 days will not stop calling
- AnnieI'm registered with the TPS but still had two missed calls from this number today. My O2 contract has 12 months left to run ...
- RebeccaThese people call me sooo much, I picked up once and never said anything to find out who it was. Then at about 12 at night I got a missed call from a mobile number so the next morning I called it, when the mobile number piked up it was the same people as the company number. What are they playing at???
- annoni dont know how many damn times i've told these people to leave me alone and that im not interested. ive given up. i never hang up on telesales people cos im not rude but these people are taking the absolute piiiss! they are rude, they dont listen, why the hell do they have my number? my contract is nowhere near finished and i own my phone. what are they on?

- AnnieGot some information that might help a few people. I've been getting called constantly by these people despite being TPS registered. Today I finally answered the phone to them and they said they were ringing about my Virgin contract - my Virgin contract ended in February and I'm with O2 now. They knew everything about my Virgin contract - what package I had, what phone I had, etc, so I called Virgin to ask if they had sold on my number. They said that it's CARPHONE WAREHOUSE who give numbers to this company - I originally took out my Virgin contract through Carphone Warehouse so this makes sense now. They advised that as well as making a complaint to the TPS, I should also contact Carphone Warehouse. If you're geting calls from this company and you have ever done business with Carphone Warehouse, that's how your number has been passed on. I did call Carphone Warehouse (0870 0870 168) and they didn't deny giving my number to these people, just said they would fill out an opt-out form to stop me getting more calls. They've still broken the law though!
