I have just had a call form this number advising me on miss sold PPI's . They advised me i could collect up to £10k but i had to give them £296 now to process the paperwork . When i said i wanted to think about it the caller became flustered and slightly annoyed . I became instantly suspicous and ended the call . The webiste details i were given were also incorrect www.pro-active-legal.co.uk does not exist but Proactive Group does ( doing something else entirely ) Please beware .

Maybe you should answer and if your not interested tell them and you should stop getting calls.

I called the number back after they called my mobile to be told that he was Brian from Pro-active Legal and I was "probably" due some "credit"...???

I am registered with the tps and still get these calls!

this number rang me today with a woman telling me they are collecting overpaid interest on all credit cards debit cards, mortgages and loans etc over the past 12 years... she wanted all the details of everything i had in the last 12 years and asked for the customer services number on the reverse of my credit card, the dialling code is just a 20 min drive from where i live..... all the best honey :-)

Suggest  anyone hassled by this caller use the link below to the e-petition to the government -- I have   and I have pasted it into an email sent to all my contacts asking them to subscribe to the petition and to forward the email and link to all their contacts.   If we all did this it could well go viral before the end date of the petition. I get two second phone calls? No one answers when I say hello, will be adding this number to the blocked numbers list.

Called me yesterday and today (25th 26 July 2012).

I did not answer.

I called them back and heard some American sounding asian pre-recorded voice stating that my call is very important to them. It sounds ridiculous, so I hung-up.

This is clearly some scammer some where.

Incidentally, I have 17 months left on my contract - Just renewed in June.

Rang me this afternoon with a speal about 'Missold PPI' - I told them to please not contact this number again and take me off their list and they got offended and started accussing me of being 'abusive' because I didn't want to listen to them!

I hung up before they could find out that what offensive actually means.

I didn't know who they were or what they wanted when they called but I just denyed that I was me when they asked. That soon got rid of these pests. I can't stand anyone like this contacting me.

They got my number from Three as the contract is in someone else's name and that is the only link between my number and the person they wanted to speak to.
