I keep getting calls from the same number, I entered a copetition to win a holiday a few weeks ago at Manchester Airport, I think it must be them as I only gave my mobile number and no other details. Surely Manchester Airport Authorities should not let companies like this operate in thier airport.

keep being called on my mobile by this number only know that the prefix code 01268 is registered to the Basildon/Canvey Island area

Well done Google - as I have had call today. Flick through pages above for details regarding Whiteword Enterprises Ltd, Pitsea Essex. Companies House website will provide details about the directors and their phone number.

Harrasment is the only way I can describe it.Why cant we stop these people?

I had a call from this number, a very bubbly woman told me I'd taken part in a survey in April and proceeded to try to "confirm" a lot of simple "answers" that would be easy to guess.  "Age range 25-62?" Come on!!! When she guessed wrong and I said no, she just carried on as if I'd said yes, but the line went dead within a few seconds.

What exactly do they gain from calling you?

Like some other people I was asked if I lived with anyone. When i said no I was asked if I had lived with or was married in the last 18 months. After I answered no the girl just said she would put my details in a draw. I told her not to send me anything, she said don't worry we don't have your address. I'm pretty sure I didn't do a survey for a holiday as don't stop for canvassers in the street.

Anyone got any idea's what they get from it?

just the same, no asked for me by name but then did not say anything,I could hear voices in the background. Could be connected to a scam relating to a free holiday I am supposed to have won

Just got a call from this number (and I never answer a call where I don't recognise the number) and lucky for me, after looking up the number via Google, I won't be answering any furture calls from this company thanks to this site!

Had a missed call, checked on here to see who t was and saw the comments So didn't call it!

I understand that legal action is about to be taken against the directors of this company.

reported to the TPS, bet they're a popular there!!! bet it won't make a blind bit of difference but i've given it a go.

I've just googled this number after receiving a very strange phonecall from a lady on my mobile who stated that she was calling from CLC and that I apparently had filled out a survey in May stating that I was a home owner and lived with my partner when I told her that those details were incorrect she promptly put the phone down on me and after reading the Guardian article (http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2003/jul/19/ ... dfraud?page=all), I can see why. What I would like to know is how they actually got my mobile number in the first place as I'm very choosy about who I give it to but hopefully I won't be getting anymore calls from them. So my advice to anyone who can't get rid of them, tell them you're not a homeowner, they don't seem to be interested then.

NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE - I answered a questionnaire at alicante airport being kidded into it being a survey regarding services at the airport -what a load of bull hey.  I would soo love to go along and say no even on the holiday but life is too short and I'ld like to enjoy my holiday not be hounded by aggressive losers who are trying to con people - they should get a life and stop ripping off people.!

this number is driving me mad i'm gettting anything up to 6 calls a day while i'm at work, the best advice i have had is report them to the police which i feel i will do now after looking at this web site

Just had a call from a bubbly sales person saying after entering a competition at Manchester airport we had won a holiday for four in Europe. She gave me a freefone number 0800 988 9904 that I should call straight away to claim my prize. Quoting reference number 26 Manchester.

Called today and gave me all the bull....Easy way to stop them in their tracks.Tell them you own a timeshare/points award(we are with diamond resorts)
the guy actually said"Thanks for your time"and put down the phone down on me mid sentence.....RESULT.

I missed 2 calls from these yesterday, and as im nosey and like to know who is calling me i googled the number.  Really hope they ring back so i can wind them up now.
