Over the last few weeks we have been getting calls from this and other unsolicited numbers who either dont speak when you answer or when answered they then attempt to tell me i have applied for unsecured credit,holidays or in one case compensation for an accident @ work ( i am a health and safety executive!!!)or they just generally talk utter B******s, which, invariably leads to me explaining to them in good old fashioned English where they can stick their offers, this also leads to them hanging up!! So my advice is to anyone receiving these idiotic calls, answer them and let rip with the most disgusting and offensive profanities you can muster! They will get the message in the end and we shall triumph over ( at least one of them)these parasites.   cheers for listening

Just had a woman on syaing you have won a free holiday congratulations, ring this free phone number so i did and you have to come to a holiday exhibition for a couple of hours on a certain date at certain time and you get £50 vouchers then you receive the holiday info, costs £64.50/person booking fee though, was gonna go but after reading this dont think al waste me time, has anyone actually been to the exhibition?
if we wanted to take our daughter with us it would cost us £99 for her flight and then prob the booking fee too!!
Wont stop for the woman outside Asda doing a survey again!

What is this number, they call twice a day

i keep getting this number on my phone but wont answer it it rings at least 3 time a day the same number never leaves a answer message  i did answer it once about 3 months ago and what a suprise id won a holiday told me i had filled in a questionaire in the high street (which i  hadnt) getting really fed up with this coming through on my phone

Its a holiday scam. They give you another number to call to claim your prize. I googled it and i came up with many websites saying it was a scam. I'm not going to their presentation or paying the "booking fees."  We received the first call from another number (googled to match the same company and everything) because we stupidly talked to a canvasser in york city center.

Only 19 hours since the last call they called again asking for my husband. I told them i didnt know when he'd be home and asked if i could take a message but the guy said no, he'd call back.  Fortunately this guy was very polite about it.

They called saying we have won a holiday. Asked us t call a number to get hold of the details.

YES it is a  free holiday YES it is 4/5 star and YES they do give you the vouchers.   Got a call. rang the freephone number went along to Club la Costa it was a Holiday Inn place.  Very upfront and friendly people.  When they found we already had timeshare they said although we were not elgible they gave us the £50 M&S vouchers and a free holiday to Tenerife. Had to pay £59 each admin charges but free hol free flights fee vouchers can't be bad.  Enjoyed the holiday immensely.  Where able to choose dates no extra charge for flights contrary to what others are saying.  Well worth the admin fees. Golf del Sur was wonderful only 20mins from Los Christianos.  Amenities at hotel excellent. So taken took another week for £89 (room cost NOT each) and got flight date extended at no extra cost.

This 01268557600 number is illegal and they are committing fraud. They claim I had filled in a survey, but I didn't.

If they continue to ring, take the person's name and take the details to a solicitor. When they're required to show the survey forms in court, they obviously won't be able to.

Just had a call saying I had won a free holiday - vaguely remember being stopped in the street about 2 weeks ago. Given a referebce no. and telephone no. to call - decided to check it out first and it brought me here - and I am very glad I did.

These timewasters told us we had won a free holiday, after the usual survey. My wife almost rang the number but thanks to this site we were saved the trouble!

Had a call today asking for a mrs jones. I asked why and they said they wanted to check some deatils from survey form I alledgely had completed. I asked what address they had but 'they did not have any', just a phone no. Told them that it was wrong and to remove it. Pigs might fly.

Keep getting these calls too, looked up Whiteword Enterprises Ltd, the directors names and addresses are as follows: Alan Jones, 306 WESTBOURNE GROVE, WESTCLIFF ON SEA, ESSEX, SS0 0PT and Stephen Millard, 123 SOUTHCHURCH BOULEVARD, SOUTHEND ON SEA, ESSEX, SS2 4UR. The company address is 3RD FLOOR PEMBROKE HOUSE, 11 NORTHLANDS PAVEMENT, PITSEA, ESSEX SS13 3DX. Hopefully putting this information about will allow us to annoy you - scammers!

My wife just received a call from this and asking to phone 08009889904 to get a free holiday. Came in and I did the search and found this thank goodness. What a stupid scam!!

my mother got a call today afternoon from the same number (01268 557 600). So i googled it and thats how i got here. thanx for the advice

I too got a call today saying I've won a holiday, by some company called Sea Resort Hotels. I told them they sounded dodgy, like something that should be on Watchdog. The lady said, "I assure you this is very genuine. In fact if you call the freephone number today you also get £50 shopping vouchers." Anyway, I knew it was a scam when she kept emphasising that the number is free to call. I also asked her which date I had filled the survey in and then I checked my diary - I was out of town that day.

got in tonight and on 1471 this number appeared, did not know the code so googled it and great stuff when they ring back will get a mouthful.
