Quite believable to start with, don't fall for it.
They are a timeshare company and we all know what timeshares in Spain and Portugal are worth these days.

- RosebudI got a call from this number twice. A woman from CLS asked for my partner as she was carry out a survey for a holiday. She claimed he had taken this holiday in January; as we had not taken any holiday this year I googled the number 01268 557 600 only to learn that it is a scam.
I called the number and there was an automated message stating that the all the lines were busy, I was then advised to hang up and they will callback.
Needless to say I can't wait!
My poor partner nearly had the frying pan waiting for him. Shameless People!- Caller: CLS Survey

- Ali| 1 replyGot a call from this number and was told I had won a free holiday with Club La Costa. I asked how that is possible and they replied I had completed a lifestyle survey and was chosen or a free 'couples' holiday. Apparently I had stated I was married on the survey. I told the lady I am not married and she told me that this 'prize' will not apply to me and then hung up!! Very weird. Definetely won't be answering if they call back.

- lollyi have just received a call from an over exited lady , saying wow you have won a holiday . my husband had filled in a form at a car show .
when i told her i was not a home owner , she said i was unable to win the holiday.
so what sort of contract would i be signing up for if i did
be careful- Caller: CLUB LA COSTA
- pegirl| 1 replyI got called today and had won the free holiday - I was instantly suspicious so I hung up. The cheeky devils then phoned me back to try again. I listened to the hard sell with one ear and then asked her to call me later. if she does I intend to ignore the calls.
Thank you to this webiste for letting me know for sure it was a scam. I was at Masterchef Live when I got asked to fill in a questionnaire, had literally walked through the door. i wont be filling in any more surveys ever again.- Call type: Survey
- Nicky replies to pegirlSame here . . . glad I missed the call!
- maxine rowerkeep on calling my number but have no idea who they are
- Another oneBeen called twice now by this company- from two different numbers. Told them I wasn't interested today, so let's see if they listen.
It doesn't sound like they are necessarily a scam, more a hard-sell timeshare company.- Caller: Club La Costa
- Jk| 1 replyClub la costa aren't a scam. I can tell you that first hand as i work for the place. There's a lot of misconception about them. You haven't so much "won" a holiday, but we could basically give you a great holiday for just £30 per person if you go to a meeting which lets you know about our timeshares and other offerings. You don't have to buy anything at all, just literally go to the meeting, and pay the booking fees whenever you take the holiday, and that's it! Flights and accommodation all paid for. It's really not a scam.

- Lois replies to JkToo right you don't "win a holiday". You might want to cut and paste the following link and have a read before you give anymore "advice". "http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/northsomer ... T%20leaflet.pdf"
I recommend anyone else even remotely thinking of going into timeshare (or not) to have a look too or just have a look so you can do the same as me and open someone's eyes to what they are trying to sell.
Go get a proper job mate. One where people actually respect you for what you do for a living and not one where you try to scam hardworking people. - Tina replies to john mooreREVENGE ON THE TELEMARKETER
Three Little Words That Work!!
(1) The three little words: 'Hold On, Please...' Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.
Then when you eventually hear BT's 'beep-beep-beep' tone, you know it's time to go back and hang up your handset....you have efficiently completed your task.
These three little words could help eliminate telephone soliciting.
(2) Do you ever get those annoying phone calls with no one on the other end?
This is a telemarketing technique where a machine makes phone calls and record’s the time of day when a person answers the phone.
This technique is then used to determine the best time of day for a 'real' salesperson to call back and get someone at home.
What you can do after answering: If you notice there is no one there, is to immediately start hitting your # button on the phone, 6 or 7 times, as quickly as possible. This confuses the machine that dialled the call and it kicks your number out of their system. Gosh, what a shame not to have your name in their system any longer!!!
(3) When you get those 'pre-ap proved' letters in the mail for everything from credit cards to 2nd mortgages and similar type junk, do not throw away the return envelope.
Most of these come with postage-prepaid return envelopes, right?
It costs them more than the regular postage 'IF' and when they are returned. It costs them nothing if you throw them away! In that case, why not get rid of some of your other junk mail and put it in these cool little, postage-prepaid return envelopes.
Send an advert for your local chimney sweeper to American Express... they might need one!
Send a pizza coupon to HSBC... in case their canteen packs up. You get the idea.
If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them back their blank application form... after all, it is their form!
If you want to remain anonymous, just make sure your name isn't on anything you return.
You can even send the envelope back empty if you want to just to keep them guessing! It still costs them, and it is their envelope after all… you are just returning it!!!!
The banks and credit card companies are currently getting a lot of their own junk back in the post, but folks....we need to OVERWHELM them, in order to stop them.
Let's let them know what it's like to get lots of junk mail, and best of all they're paying for it...Twice!
Let's help keep Royal Mail busy. Since the Royal Mail is saying that e-mail is cutting into their business profits, let's help them so they will not need to increase postage costs again. You get the idea!
If enough people follow these tips, it will work ---- maybe you'll get very little junk mail anymore.
THIS JUST MIGHT BE ONE E-MAIL THAT YOU WILL WANT TO FORWARD TO YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!!
. - JamShamblesCalled me today telling me about a holiday that I've been awarded for me and 3 members of my family. I was obviously suspicious but the woman told me they needed to get my address in order to send something out in the post. I thought okay, fair enough, at least I can read it through and find out what it's all about... they put me through to someone else who then started trying to make me and my partner book in for a presentation near Tottenham Court Road and how we'd need to take ID with us... That was it, I put her off so I could find out who these people are. Glad I did! Unfortunately I know I'll be getting more calls ,but their number is in my mobile under "scam" so I'll just have to keep declining.

- Pete TGot a call saying we had won a prize from a raffle after attending the British Legion tournament.
It was a luxury holiday for 4 and they put me through to someone who said they needed to check some details for security. They said was i earning over 35000 pounds and I said no. After that they said that i had to earn that much in order to win the holiday. - SamI got a call from these people this afternoon telling me I'd won a free holiday (for a small admin charge of £99 per person). Hmmm, free and £99 - that's a strange method of accounting
