Hello again people. I had another phone call from them and they made them selves out to be openoffice.org. I asked them to hold on the line and then said this: "Your number has been traced and the police will be with you shortly". They then cut off. But had the cheek to ring back and plea not to send the police. I said "I do not have the authorization to do that, have a nice day". That shook them up good. They will think twice to call my number again!

I had a call a few minutes ago. I was still asleep, it just woke me up. I ignored it because I didn't recognise the number, came here on my pc to google the area code, says south africa, I know no one from there so I googled the whole number and now I'm here.

My wife and kids along with mum, recently returned from Tenerife, with tickets they entered from a draw. 3weeks later wow they are winners(pants), free hols for 4 people, all we have to do is attend a hotel, and give our credit card details, (mr smith says no way mrs smith) total scam guys, i did my research beware.

Call with Silence, could not return call

I had a call from these people for the 4th time. I told them I was not interested but they still keep on calling. It is quite obviously a scam but we were just told it was a questionnaire about our holiday at Palma. I was just in the queue to board the plane so just quickly answered.How I wish I hadn't bothered!!!!!!!!

Keep getting calls from this number, they are trying to sell me a holiday to Lapland!!  They keep offering me bigger and bigger discounts...it's a scam!!

It seems these calls come from companies who pick up data from survey sites. Don't submit any info, you get calls from every one from real estate or insurance companies or people just wanting to be a blasted nuisance. If you get anymore calls from the 01268557600 or 01268557068 put them on your reject list!. I have had six calls in the last 3 days.

I have just received another text from 01268557600 it is a Basildon number.

At least three times daily harassment from this number. Very boring now!

They don't get tired of calling, I have been getting calls to my mobile on and off for absolute months. I kept getting so many silent voicemaails that cost to retrieve that I have had to have the service switched off. Now they have somehow got hold of my house phone number now. I am not listed and on TPS. I never give out my home number to anyone other that family. I always give my mobile number which is why I thought I was getting these calls. Also the only way my number has been passed to them is from a company I was required to give my number to e.g. bank, mortgage company etc as I never fill in canvass forms, petitions etc.

Filled in a questionnaire at the recent golf show at the NEC in Birmingham and had a call from these people today.

Will definately be complaining to the organisers.  Thanks to everyone on here for the info.

Like a lot of people here I unwittingly completed a questionnaire with a canvasser for a holiday company at show at the NEC.  They have called me twice but I haven't answered as I didn't know who it was. So I googled their number which brought me to this site. Next time I will pick up the receiver and just leave the 'fone on the side without speaking in to it - so they can waste their money.  Hopefully they will get the message soon.

2 calls today and have found this forum. Was harassed as we left Faro Airport in October " just quick etc" catch you when your on back foot and gave my mobile number. Never again. Anyone asks and they'll get F off.

I received a call on my mobile from 01268 557600 but I was busy at work and it was on silent.  After trying to call back and getting nowhere I came home and googled the number.  Found this site and have got lots of great tips on how to deal with unwanted calls.  Thanks folks

...and gave them a call. Answered immediately, and the girl I spoke to said it would be done. Time will tell.
