i got a mis call from this numbe too.Weird1!they r scam mmmmm...

We've had two calls from this number today but they haven't been able to speak to the person they want. They say they are gonna ring back. Now we've read this we will be prepared to wind them up and have a real laugh at their expense. thank you for info on this scam.

have received several calls from this number....fortunately its on my mobile....& i always leave my mobile in the bag or bedroom....so have always missed their calls.....hehehe...lucky me!!!!...but when i tried calling them back the number doesnt exist....good for them....will wait for their call...hopefully i will be lucky...so can give them a mouthful!!!

I had these calling last night. I answered the call from 01268557600. A chap told me that my husband had entered into a holiday comp on the internet. They had our e mail address and our names, and I don't know how they got this information. Asked if we were home owners etc, and then told me that we had won a 2 week all expence paid, with £2,000 spending money as well.....to good to be true......I thought as much, it's a con.
For all this holiday and spending money you have to phone this number 08009889904 with a reference number to quote, but you must phone straight away to claim your prize.
DONT PHONE YOU WILL REGRET IT IN THE END!

yep got harranged by someout outside my local Tescos. now getting loads of calls. have texted STOP to see if that makes any difference ha ha.

Just had a call to my mobile which I couldn't take as I was on another call on a landline. Didn't recognise the number, so tried calling ti back and it's unobtainable. Quick Google search brought me here...

same as - call from clc, holiday etc. glad i check on website etc. phoned bt asked their security team to look into it as a rougue dialler.

This number is a load of crap,, it keeps hanging up on me !!!
If they call you up, dont ring back its a scam !!!
I dont even think they are a real company to be honest

Can't believe this is from the form I filled in outside my local Tesco's. They keep phoning my mobile, but as I didn't know the number I didn't answer it. They phoned 5 times yesterday and once already today - very pleased to have found this site so that I can work out who they are!

Just had a call from 01268557600 (Club La Costa). Won a holiday blah, blah. Phone our Head Office 08009889904 to register. I don’t think so after reading previous postings. Club La Costa specialise in Time Share and overseas property sales and at the end of the day it’s all about them trying to sell you something you probably don’t want or can’t afford.
When my phone rings again and I recognize the 01268 caller I will hit the answer button and put the phone in the cupboard. If I do accidentally answer the call I will have to admit to owning timeshare in Cyprus and recently having my home reposessed. I would hope that the calls will then stop.

I have just recieved a call from CLC Hotels & Resorts, to tell me I have won a holiday for two with a choice of several destinations. Pardon me for being the sceptic, but I'm always very wary of unexpected calls telling me I have won something when I have not entered  any competition. If you are called from 01268 557600 or asked to call 0800 988 9904 do not talk to them they are scammers.
Incedentally Last year in February, my wife and I enjoyed 6 nights in California all expenses paid, courtesy of Orange it was wonderful.

That number kept coming up on my mobile broadband for some reason. Now that I read the above I'm happy to let them continue wasting their time!

My Dad's mobile keeps ringing with this number but I've not been answering, I was sure he was having an affair - very glad to have found this site now!

He has been invited to a meeting in Perth in a hotel to talk over the details of this free holiday.. This was 2 weeks ago, they still aren't giving up.

Same as above, bunch of Essex girls trying to scam by asking you to phone another number back. Doh..anybody stupid enough to call back deserves what they get! As scams go, it is very poor, not much brains involved in this one!

Just let them keep talking and get on with what you have to do !!! Hopefully they will get the message you're not interested.

We were stopped at Malaga airport as we were going to our departure gate by a very credible lady who said she was doing a survey for Malaga tourism. She asked for our phone number and assured us that no-one would phone us - it was just needed to confirm that we were real "survey punters". Sure enough, one week later we had a call at home from this number saying we had won a holiday following a survey we had completed at Malaga airport. When I said that the lady said she represented Malaga tourism and that we would not be contacted he stumbled and more or less said that she was "not quite telling the truth"
Do not touch with a barge pole!!!!!!!

these people are still at it, Club La Costa,still saying won free hol' and given a 080098899404 number to claim prize. Thank god for these forums, keep up the good work guys!!!

Glad I went on this site.  Luckily, I missed the call, but now am aware of the scam

Wish I had kept them on longer as they called my mobile... alas, I didn't get told I did a 'survey' but entered a competition "online in the last 12 months"... relying on poor memory with vague dates eh?
