had a missed call looked on this site and read what other people had said thanks

They call me every day!! They never go through to voicemail and the times I have answered they hang up.  This follows being caught offguard and giving my number in a survey!!!!!

01268 557600. Completed survey in Bromley, Glades Shopping Centre, about holidays.  Took no more than 2 minutes.  I answered it yesterday but lost connection on the train.  Its 1pm and I've had four already today. Bit of advice - do not complete these surveys.

These people are calling my direct line at work constantly, I've had 5 calls today already.
I don't understand how they have got my number.... I never give my work number out as a contact?!

I received a call today which I didn't answer, so checked it on this site. Thankfully I did and will now not answer to them, thanks.

Also, I looked through my phone menu (Samsung U600) and found a 'call reject' section. I've entered the number into there and will now no longer be hassled. See if your phone's got it, it may help.

I had a call on my mobile no.at 1.18pm on 6/6/08 . The caller used my surname and said I had won a competition that I had entered on line . Immediately I was suspicious as I never enter competitions on line.I asked when I had entered and he said 'any time within the last 18months' He asked if I would confirm that my partner and I are between 25 and 65 and I said ,because I was suspicious 'I don't have a partner' to which he immediately said 'I must have the wrong person then'and put the phone down. I am concerned that these people are trying to find out who lives alone (which I don't)and if they are after money they have hit on the wrong woman , as both my partner nor I have any !
What annoys me is I never usually answer calls to my mobile if I don't recognise the number - however , a friend of mine keeps buying new phones and has about 4 at the moment and I always assume it is her if I don't recognise the no. showing. Next time I will be more careful!

call was from CLC Hotels & Resorts, claiming that I had 'won' a free holiday after completing a survey.  After Googling CLC it seems that this Club La Costa and appears to be a Timeshare (or 'holiday membership club') hard sell type of thing.  Also linked to 08009889904 which is the number that they ask you to call to 'claim' your holiday.

I've just been called by these people at the first time who when i told them i had cetainly never filled in a questionnaire asked me if i was sure!! I also tried to call back and the number rings dead. I think it's a disgrace who is giving my number to these people?

The guy on 01268557600 I spoke to wanted to speak to my mother and when i asked what it was concerning told me it was "none of my business"  HOW RUDE!

I missed the name of the company but some cockney wide boy made the call!

Just had my second call from them having not fitted the 24-65 and living together criteria. This time I just said I am not interested, I was questioned why and I said Just because I am not, she hung. To be honest now, though I am going to have some fun with them then next time they ring and everyone should start doing this, make out it is a bad telephone line, pretend you are a bit death, keep them on the phone. Start talking to them about your kids , grandkids, just pretend you are interested and they will stay on the phone and listen to you costing them money. These companies are scum and should be treat the same way...Have fun everyone and cost them loads :)

I got a call from this number. Looked it up and thank you to everyone else i'll now be waiting. Have NEVER given my number out!!!!

Thanks for this guys. Just had the same number call on my husbands mobile!!!!!!!!!!! I missed the call, when I called it back it was unobtainable.  Really annoying, but shall be ignoring all of their calls in future.

I have just received a call from this number, asking for me by name (first name).The girl then told me I had entered a competition in 'CLC Lifestyle magazine'.She said I had told them I lived with my partner and owned my own property then hung up.I tried calling the number back but it was invalid.
True or false - I would NEVER give marketing information of this type

I had a call from 01268557600 but luckily I had my phone on silent, but when I tried to call back I just got a unobtainable tone.

Just got a call asking me personal questions that were wrong and hung up when i questioned them about it. Go to tpsonline.org.uk and register your number online. This stops any marketing company contacting you. Register with this and by law there not allowed to contact you.

Yes ....had a call asked if I contacted there site....where I said not me...just put phone down.........good saved me the job!!!
