who call me?

Just a call from these guys. They said I had filled in a survey around Christmas and said that I shopped in a certain postcode area. I was suspicious as I had moved from that area nearly 2 years ago! I said I had not filled in a survey and she hung up! I hope they do phone back again, as I will have some fun with them.

Just had a call saying that i had won a holiday. Hubby said it would be a scam. I was asked to phone a 0800 number quoting a ref nos they had given me. Right enough they are asking me to meet up in a hotel etc, to get all my neccessary paper work Yeh sure i will!!!! Also you had to pay £29.60 each person for your holiday!!! They can piddle off !!

i keep getting this number ringing my mobile once or twice in the day time and about 6times at nite or early hours in the morning.

Got a very breif call from this number on my mobile. The guy said something about me filling in a questionaire and winning a prize draw. He was just starting to talk about a holiday when he hung up. Jumped straight online to find out if it was a scam and oh what a surprise, it is! B*(&%^DS!

Tip: I've temporarily added the number into my contacts under 'SCAM'. If I forget the number and they call back, I'll know not to answer it.

didn't waste too much of my time fortunately as I had bad reception, although they had repeatidly called.

Company called concerning an online competition I had entered to win £500,000, there was no mention of a holiday.
The caller knew my name and said I entered the competition on 9th March at 8:10am. I insisted that there would be no way I would be entering a competition at that time in the morning I was abruptly hung up on.

I've just started being called by this number. I've not picked up yet as I never do if I don't know the number, I assume people will leave a message. They haven't so I googled the number and found this site! Thanks for the warning guys and thanks to this site - now I won't be picking up at all.

I received a call to say I partecipated to a survey for LifeStyle and had won a luxury holiday for 4 people all expenses included with flight and accommodation redeamable within 18 months. She carried on giving me a very old address of mine where I used to live 3 years ago. She told me to call 08009889904 to claim it and to do it 'as a matter of urgency' as I would have been able to also collect £50 worth of vouchers. She gave me a ref number (54 PEC) and congratulated me for the win. When I questioned why it took them 3 years to give me a prize as that was an old address of mine, she told me 'congratulations anyway' and put the phone down on me.

more important  just hours before i was called i gave my phone number to GO COMPARE.COM and CONFUSSED.COM. SEEM TO REMEMBER THIS HAPPENED TO ME LAST TIME I TRYED WEB COMPARISON SITES
this number just called me and said i filled in a questionaire. i said i dont think i have. he said it could be from six months ago. he said he needed to confirm some details with me. i said it sounds dodgy to me but HE reassured me its not a scam or anything. then he said the survay says my parner was between 29 and 45 years old can i confirm this. i told him i have been single for 9 yrs and lets end this call now which i did.

Got a call today from this number "CLC resorts & Hotels" a lady call sharell said I had won a holiday for 4 to spain or the canary islands including flights and I should quote a reference number when calling back their claim line (0800 9889904)

Will be fun to see how many times they call back I guess.

Just had a call from this number and have been advised that I have won a holiday for 4 with flights and accommodation included.  I have to telephone 0800 9889904 to collect my prize but it's going to cost me £30 per person - that means it isn't quite a free holiday doesn't it?!  I was constantly congratulated by the caller and told to immediately call the freephone number.  If only I really had won a holiday.....!!

Same story here - like tc above though, I have given my number to confused.com, money supermarket and purple parking via the web. Could be the source of the information to CLC

wife received a call for me, told them to call back. they did, surprise, surprise i'd won holiday for 4 after filling in a survey. We're not that lucky, so put number into yahoo and found these comments. If they call again will have fun seeing how long we can keep them on their phone and waste their money!

I missed a call from this number today...so I googled the number and ended up on this site...I'm glad I missed the call, I won't bother to answer it in future!

Don't know, I've got used to the number and don't bother answering it! but it is bloody annoying.

I often get number witheld calls, but if someone is so secretive and rude to withold their number, I become equally secretive and rude by not answering them!

They called me back the day after I had "won" again, wondering if I had experienced problems getting through to their 0800 988 9904 number. My response that I was not interested elicited no more than a "oh ... thank you ... good bye"

The only reason I mention it is that they claimed to be calling from myoffers (which I had misheard as "myoffice" - cloth ears that I am) who run loads of online competitions, along with money off schemes and goodness know what else, as they claim to be "The UK's number 1 competitions & prize site"
